I listen to everybody, to the honest and to the lair then filter what I think is true.

I am planning some vacation in The Dominican Republic around Christmas time until mid January.

I have previously seen photos of girls equipped with numbers performing at a pool. I guess the guest could chose from them and bang them afterwards.

Can anyone here enlighten me in how this concept works, where does it take place and what does it cost you? Do you have to stay a the place where they arrange it in order to chose a girl etc.

Any information would be hihgly appreciated!

After the show its up to you to snatch up your favorite chica and find out, and its obvious you will have to have a room there to take care of business. Most of the crowd clears out quickly after the contest, but the chicas will use Sat. As a nite to check out early so you have to negotiate before it gets too late on that night.

Chicas at Blackbeards and Field of Dreams cost around 1600 pesos short-time and around 3000 the night. Anywhere else might be different.

No, you do not have to be a resident to view the contest at Blackbeards or Field of Dreams. Last time I was at Blackbeards they applied an entry fee (I think it was 200 pesos) to day visitors in a patchy and haphazard sort of way. They did not try it on with me. You don't need to be a resident to rent a chica but you will need to pay extra either to take her off premises (called a "salida") or for short-time use of a room, assuming one is available. Around 800 pesos?

Why anyone would want to pay to watch at Blackbeards, then pay the girl, then pay a salida on top, I cannot imagine. Not a very cost-effective way of mongering.

When I first started going to the DR it was nice having him there in my living room giving me baby step information which some came in handy on my 1st trip. I think most of us on this board are just concerned for his safety because he still is only looking at Sosua through rose colored glass. For the one's of us that only go there to play it is safe for the most part but when a person decides to get caught up in political shit they see the real side of the DR come out and it might not be good. The only people who know the real deal is people who have lived around there all there lives. I think Cuba Dave only knows as much as they want him to know and I am sure they are not telling him the whole life story from the beginning.
