Without him I would probably be in that famous Thai prison they make movies about. You did alright so get out there and find a Thai gem and forget about it.

Don't sweat your misadventure with the "lady" from wechat. It can happen to anyone. Learn form the experience and move on. Even if she was a LB and you made a mistake it really is no big deal.
Please keep your cool and refrain from violence unless you feel your personal security to be threatened. I am sure you can hold your own, but like the previous poster said, Thais stick up for their own (no matter who is really wrong in the situation) and you will end up fighting the whole damn Thai nation. I live in Vietnam and TET is here and everything is closed and slowing down so I impulsively booked a flight to BKK and Tims hotel in Pattaya. Maybe a bad time to go. I imagine all the East Asian men will flood the place for Chinese New Year. Had a real hard time booking a hotel. Everything was occupied. Didn't know about Tim's age restriction.
What should I do if I meet a 18 or 19 yo girl I want LT? Who can I tip?
My 7th time to Thailand, but first time to Pattaya. I didn't have much time to RTFF, but I know about LK Metro and WS and FL on Beach Road. Anything else I should know about?

Be carefull about the BeerBar Girls. They rather soak you for drinks than go with you for the most part. More expensive GoGo's can sometimes be cheaper in the long run, plus are as a general rule a lot hotter, see Baccara.
I have found some very hot diamonds in the rough on beach Road. Younger, more conservatively dressed girls are often a sign of being fairly new in town. Many of these girls have bodies as hot as anything you find in the GoGo's and next to no BeerBar. Pay 700-1000 short time all in.
The advantage of living here is you can do constant scouting. If your trip is short and you want to avoid disappointment stick with GoGo's if you can afford it.

A friend of mine has permanently moved to Pattaya, we all have that one friend don't we, who we are jealous off, lucky man! Just sharing his insight on the situation currently in Pattaya.
He was telling me there is a huge influx of Japan / Korean / Chinese customers in the region due to the Chinese New Years or just that time of the season. He has been going WS with no hopes of roping girls but sticks to Soi 6 and Soi Bukhao for his daily mongering accepting the reality of the season. Much like the New years season this is perhaps the second blitz where men come in hordes and girls can demand prices, demand Lady Drinks etc. As much as we all want to walk into a half empty gogo bar with all girls vying for our wallets and what's between our pockets, Pattaya is like a solid business model where different people fill different time slots throughout the year.
Lastly, in my experience it is extremely rare, any of us travelers or visiting mongers will run into settled expats on WS. As the saying goes, When in Rome. , well the settlers of Rome have spoken, you will always walk in with high expectations on WS and be disappointed since those girls have options. As much as we say theres always another bar / another girl, it goes the same for the girls on WS, another LD / another Barfine.
I am planning another trip in either July or August to Pattaya, wanted to ask the board if there is any other seasons I should avoid. The forum and mongers basically saved me from a SongKran disappointment, so I ask. How is June / July / Aug as a time and is there anything I should have in mind?

June: usually have a 2/3 days soi6 party from PA forum, in this days I don't go in soi6.
July: 19/20 Buddha days.
August: 12 Queen's birthday.

For how much?[/QUOTE]HSH, Telephone Bar has shut down. Similar option seems to be "Bar de la Poste" on Soi Lengkee, no idea if the owner is same as Telephone bar. I had read an FR some time back and If I remember well a BJ was for 500 baht. Room cost was additional 400 baht and FS was 700 baht. Package deal for a BJ + FS was 1000 THB. Prices might have changed now.
