Not to be critical of your post and I respect your risk appetite, but most likely, you have nothing to worry about. E. g. , I don't remember reading FRs from people who actually got mugged or beaten up. It just doesn't happen. Especially being in a hotel is safe since you could report them easily. To me, it seems unlikely that a criminal gang would use a hotel for such activities, what with cameras everywhere and the need for ID when they rented the room.

Also, I don't worry about police entrapment, since the LEOs know exactly what's going on and where. It always makes me smile to see people being very secretive and using guess-the-hotel name kind of descriptions. Trust me, the LEO know much more than us about our wholesome hobbies LOL.

A typical wechat scenario is that they give you a cell phone number, and then continue on whatsapp. She sends over a google map, you go there, and the pimp picks you up from the street. Action takes place in a residential building. I never felt scared because people in the UAE want to avoid problems. I never got robbed also, but I am careful to take my wallet when I go to the bathroom or shower. And I even feel a bit silly doing so, because 99% won't steal from your wallet, even if you leave it behind.

Just keep in mind, they are more afraid of you than you should be of them: You could easily make an anonymous complaint to the police and they would be raided. Then again, if you're not comfortable, best thing to do is cut your losses and walk away.

The going morale here is NOT to publish details, so I follow that strictly.

That being said, when people go to the level of Ba* Tag** or w*ch*, then that just too much "secret handshake" for me. I don't claim to know how the LEO operates, but most likely they shut down places if the neighbors start complaining, not just based on a few FR reports. Of course if this is to happen only few dedicated members will have to find the WGs, the AMPS and the green hotels and write all info for other managers and fund ISG by having PM facilities.
