Medellin Reports

A good evening to you fine gentlemen. First, I wanted to thank everyone here who shared valuable knowledge. I wanted to share my experiences during this rookie visit.

I'm posting from my private apartment at the moment in Parque Lleras and couldn't be happier w / the location and my stay in general.

*Disclosure* - I took a 3-night trip here to Medellin largely to partake in the beautiful women. But also just to explore the city / restaurants / scenery. This is a stunning city and I've fallen in love with it. The dollar is strong, the people are very nice / fair (fair in terms of business dealings) - and the women are unparalleled.

Places I highly recommend:

Fase Dios: 2-3 miles from Parque Lleras (10,000 cab ride) This is my favorite place here. 10,000 entry fee It's unlike anything I've seen in the world and the women are stunningly beautiful. I love strip clubs and this is a genuine strip club (not a brothel) - and it features women who can really dance and showcase their sensuality on a world-class stage. As a strip club aficionado. I feel that a woman's stage show can say a lot about how she'll be in bed. And this was definitely the case here. If you take the chicas to "private rooms" - it's about $180,000-$200,000. Very clean facility next door (south beach hostel / hotel) - and the club has something for everyone. You won't regret. I saw a handful of 9's & 10's.

La Isla: (10-20 minute drive from Parque Lleras (12,000 cab ride) - this is a popular club here. It's more of a showy club and very comfortable seating / open warehouse space. Very beautiful women and welcoming hosts. 10,000 entry fee. You can take chicas to private rooms here as well. Quoted at 200,000 per hour. I'd say the quality was slightly better than Fase Dios but not by much.

Energy Massage: This is a bit further out and a longer cab drive from Parque Lleras but a nice way to see Medellin. And it's a brothel. But very sophisticated and well done. It's a nondescript building. No sign. And you walk in and sit down while the hostess calls in all the women available. About 30 women came in and introduced themselves to me and many were quite beautiful. 140,000 per hour.

Note: my Spanish is pretty poor. But don't let that dissuade you. Try to speak it and use google translate (LOL) on your phone. I will be learning more Spanish as it certainly is much more fun if you can speak in detailed conversation with the ladies. And they are everywhere. The coffee house scene is awesome. Restaurants fabulous. And Medellin has a golden place in my heart.

I went to some other spots but can't say I recommend them as much as the aforementioned three.

As for Colombia Jake. I did get in touch w / him and he offered to take me around on a night-tour for $75/ hour. Which seemed like a fair deal. But I felt like I already knew the main spots and he tried to upsell me a bit saying it would be another $25 after we agreed on $75- so I opted out. Seems like a very nice guy and it's a good service for those who are a bit spooked and out of their element- but I found it fun to explore Medellin on my own.

And just how does one with zero experience in MDE and no Spanish accomplish that w / o Jake or I presume the Mansion? I paid my dates 170-190 mil, plus $25 for his mamasan duties (stayed there) plus advice on what to pay, for less than $100 total. Most of Jake's girls that I saw were above and beyond anything personality wise that I had encountered before, they spoke english and really carried the evening-great work ethic, so to minimize a guy's experience your comment really isn't accurate nor fair. I don't think anyone seriously think's of these girls as a GF, but a GFE that's a different story.

That is pretty funny though, saying that pretty much any guy can have the same experience for less than $34. I need you to show me that trick, LOL.

I would rather not argue however I will always defend my position. Based on firsthand experience with Jake's girls, I think that you were expressing a different opinion than Jake's and that the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

I also think the last post by Dellotoro was a great one, we need to focus on the more interesting things.

That void like all addictions is emotion driven. Our emotions do not differentiate between feelings that are valid as in a normal relationship, and the p4 p type GFE. The experience feels the same to us or both on a physical and emotional level.

We step on the slippery slope when we allow ourselves to buy into this delusion. We know better but just can't seem to be able to stop ourselves. We're no smarter than a fish that keeps getting hooked on the same artificial lure.

But I often wish that in Colombia or SE Asia.

This is exactly the type of information that needs to be posted more often on ISG. No doubt that it'll be helpful to lurking mongers who read this thread daily in preparation for their trips to MDE. Your comments about Colombia Jake are particularly interesting. What kind of tour was offered for $75 an hour? And what was the basis / reason for suddenly wanting to increase the fee to $100 an hour? Getting into the specifics will be helpful to mongers as well.

Mostly I do this due to my unpredictable calendar (last minute trips), but I also travel there under the radar. Having a beautiful and sexy companion who I also enjoy as a person to share dinner and drinks with is a nice way to spend an evening. Sure beats eating and drinking alone. I have very few amigas who spend only an hour or two with me. I would say that most tend to spend the entire day or evening with me. But when my faves only have an hour or two to spend with me, I usually try to fit in something new, short-time.

I have no plans to bring one of them home to meet Mother, anytime soon. But I have met several that have provided many memorable moments exploring and exposing me to the real Medellin or a fantastic weekend party night on the town! Guess that is what I am paying for, with the other adult benefits on the side. Going on 58 years old, I just do not have the energy I did of 20 years ago to sport-f**k. LOL. Just another example of how we all "roll" differently!

I come back from New Life. Thank you for the information in the forum about, it was quite enjoyable. No rip-off and nearly GFS, will go back again.

As I am living in country much more dangerous than this one I feel very safe.

A lot of these listings are on airbnb and here's why I recommend:

-The host speaks English and is very responsive.

-I coordinated airport pickup / drop off for a reasonable fee. And it was well worth it as a very nice gent picked me up in international arrivals holding my name with a sign. And whisked me away to Medellin directly to my apartment.

-you can take chicas up to the private apartments with no hassle from hotel / reception staff.

I felt it important to share the knowledge as it helped me (even though I had to sift through a lot of snark / pointless arguments on this board to get to the gold LOL) - I really would love if this board was more friendly / informative. And I want to do my best to help fellow rookies out as Medellin is a gem and a place that every man should experience at least once in my opinion.

As for Colombia Jake. I actually want to say that I found him to be very respectful and a very nice guy. I just wasn't convinced the service was for me. He offered $75 for a 'night tour' which would last approximately from 7:30-12 am -- the additional $25/ hour was justified as an additional to fee to ride on the back of his bike with him through the city. I'm sure it would've been a fun time. But because I did my homework prior to coming. I was quite certain that I had already identified the golden locations throughout the city.

All this being said. I think Colombian Jake's service is reasonable for those who don't want to have to worry about coordinating any logistics and just want to be led by an experienced veteran (which I'm sure he is).

That is about 330 k peso per hour. It would be around 1000k peso for a 3 hour guide. That is an unreasonably high rate. It is the monthly income for blue collar workers in Colombia. Some gringos here will do it for you for free. Just print my casa map and show it to the taxi driver. Jake uses my map, he does not have any additional info. You are sane to reject his offer.

OK gents -- I am now back in the USA After an absolutely epic first experience in Medellin. And I will be back.

I won't repeat the information from my last post but will add on some new information (this is particularly useful for rookies / first-timers / those thinking of planning a trip but a bit unsure).

1.) Go. Just book the trip and go. The dollar is at an all-time high right now and you get an unbelievable value in Medellin at the moment -- from hotel rates, to dinner prices, to accommodations. To taxi fares. Can't speak Spanish? Learn a few basic phrases and have google translate available. Do not create excuses why you can't go. Just do it. The only reason I wouldn't recommend going is if you are easily spooked and not adventurous at all. I traveled to Medellin by myself with no prior experience in South America. And I found Medellin to be safer than many USA Cities.

2.) While I did travel solo. I met up with many travelers throughout my stay. Both in Parque Lieras and in the clubs -- I'm very outgoing so it was easy for me to make friends, and while I do like to travel solo and under the radar. I also love to "monger" with like-minded friends. But the reason I usually steer clear of such groups is because I generally need a certain level of sophistication from comrades when I partake in a foreign country / culture. Meaning: I don't like loud, obnoxious Americans who are drunk and drawing attention. I like people who are respectful, take care in their own appearance / presentation. And respect the local culture. But that's besides the point.

3.) Additional information from my previous 1st post. So my top 3 spots are: La Isla (strip club); Fase Dos (strip club); Energy (brothel / massage) -- I already posted about these spots so I will share some new information on other spots I went to:

Barra Ejecutiva: interesting, local spot. Def not a lot of tourists venture out here -- I found the quality of women to be lower here. But still very beautiful and very much a place for Colombian locals. Club was not as clean and upscale as the aforementioned. But for the right guy they may love it. I didn't partake in any chicas here.

New Life: Very fun / cool place. Didn't partake in any chicas here either but I was pressed for time as this was my last visit.

Luna Luneras: (strip club) - another more local spot. Women were more on the average side (may have been an off night) - but very much worth a trip just for contrast purposes.

A fellow board member here recommended an agency by the name of angelasinfieres -- and I also recommend. I used this service one night to bring a mamacita to my apartment and it was very pleased -- Luisa is her name- highly recommend. I wanted to try this for contrast purposes to see the quality versus the clubs.

Price list:

La Isla: private room- 1 hour- 250,000-300,000 (most expensive strip club but still a BARGAIN for the American).

Fase Dos: private room- 1 hour- 180,000-200,000.

Barra Ejecutiva: 1 hour 80,000.

Energy: 1 hour 120,000-140,000.

Angelasinfieres (agency): 1 hour 350,000.

Luna Luneras: 1 hour 100,000.

*Note* prices may vary and you can negotiate. But I didn't really try to because I was happy to add to the local economy as these prices are more than fair to me traveling from America where these costs are basically what a lap dance would cost in a USA Strip club.
