Not a single one of you guys have ever lived in Hawaii? Only downtown business men wear long pants and shoes. Other than military, and certain professions, shorts, t-shirt, and slippers (flip flops on the mainland) are the standard of dress. I probably have maybe 10 different pairs of slippers. Ones for town, ones for going out, washing the car, etc. Ratty T shirts are not very good, but casual shorts are just that, casual. I honestly don't think mainland standards apply in another country. Maybe parts of Manila, but certainly not AC.

you're right certainly not ac especially the bars.
but manila and anyplace else you may get a non pro, but quality is 100% dependant on dress. You can't compare hawaii and the Philippines either. Sure they're both islands but that's where the similarity ends. Some probably have had luck getting a hot non pro in casual shorts and flip flops, but that is anecdotal at best. Its the exception not the rule.
My girl and I want to get Open Water Certification. We will be going in late August and September. I would appreciate a referal to someone good. Also, since it is off season, also hoping for reasonable costs. Open to location.

Here in Davao there are lots of places that will give you PADI training for open water, but in my opinion the best is Euro Diving. Henny Smits is by the far the best diving instructor in Davao. If you want his contact information send me PM and I would be happy to send it to you.

i see well dressed , fit, good looking guys much younger than me getting played like a record by pinay ho's. look at ac. it resembles what i would think a small us town would look like after a limited nuclear exchange, only the chinese merchant class builds a few malls (a miniature jakarta w/the aussies opening the p4p bars). getting the booty is all about how you approach the booty, and portray yourself not how you dress. women judge people by self confidance, not how they dress. the educated, monied, untouchables will usually hook up just to get transit, or if older maybe a marraige to secure some property and a foothold in the us. anybody entertaining the folly that these girls want some old geezer over a pilapeeno pretty boy will be hating life after they sign the afadavits of support to bring their little pudwacker back to their hometown. if she is real pretty and some happening pinay lawyer doesn't make her his mistriss while you pay the mortage and child support, some catholic viet or korean stud might move right on in and you won't be able to afford your bootyfests any more after the child support, alimony, and her mortgage payments. the us pinoy papers all have these cheezy abogados (lawyers) ready to coach them on how the get the biggest bucks from the knucklehead that brought her back. better to look like a goofy tourist with flip-flops, shorts and holy tee shirt, unlike brazil where you want to look like them. they'd be less inclined to kidnap or rob you when you look like a mechanic on a bootytour rather than a executive from the imf or world bank.

I consider myself to be a "happening" pinoy meztiso cheezy lawyer here on the west coast, and I must say I will have to advertise in the local pinoy paper and see if I can get some business. Only one problem though, Professional code of ethics (I know, insert joke here) prohibits sex with clients. Nothing in the code about sex with ex-clients though hehehe. Just joking gentlemen, since I consider it bad form to screw some suckers wife.

If Davao isn't on your itinterary you might post in the the area where you want to go. I've heard good things about Bohol Divers on Ahlona beach, Panglao Island, Bohol.

Artisitic Diving in Sipalay, Negros, is best dive school I've found. Run by a Swiss guy, he has European instructors to fill in when he cannot personally teach the course. My experience is that Europeans are more serious about training and safety than Filipino instructors or divemasters. I say this in for people interested in diving in Thailand and Latin America too, the Europeans are the best dive instructors.
How one dresses at the office or at home etc. Is not the point. AC is a special case, and worst place in entire PI for finding GOOD girls so dress as slovenly as you want. And believe me I prefer dressing casual, and rarely dress up. But wearing long pants and a collared shirt in cities does make a difference in how you are viewed.
Of course you can still find girls so these anecdotes about "I found a hottie while dressed for the beach" miss the point also. I've scored non pros wearing shorts too, and I usually wear shorts in Manila also (because I am not on the make any more.well not often anyway). Buledaddy: your generalization is just that, a generalization. SOME Filipinas prefer the young local gwapos, even if they have a foreign BF, but there are a fair number of Filipinas who are smart enough to have no interest in Asian men. Some girls like White, and some Black. Just as we mongers are not homogenous in our preferences, neither are Filipinas.

I think some elaboration is called for. What is the problem with Asian men? They seem to have a lot of offspring, so they're doing something right!

Hey everyone,
Just thought I would weigh in on the latest topic. Just returned tonite from 10 days in PH. Stayed in Manila for 3 days at the Hyatt. Was concerned about the bill, except when I went to the craps table on the last night and made a quick 30, 000php. Paid for the room and room service, also the 6 girls I had over those days. Great time!
Hooked up with three girls from FH. One brought a girlfriend. Somehow I screwed it up and I think she was going to stay with me, but with the "I'm so shy" routine, I just sent them both home to Cavite in a taxi. Feel bad because she was really beautiful. Bartender asked me the next day about where was the pretty girl I was with, (she is friends with the girls mom). I told her it didn't work out and she told me she would go with me to the hotel. Bartender was older, but really hot and former miss pinoy idol. Anyway, was going to meet her at the hotel but she was a no show also, so, at 4 am went to LA Cafe and brought home two girls. Much easier that way. So, is 2000php a good tip? Some seemed happy while others said, "more please". AC is still AC. Fell in lust with one girl. Hooked up with Mama from Carousel and partied all night. Went home at 5am with two girls. Right now my dick hurts. Too many pussies in too short a time. Manila chicks are all about business, so to some AC girls, but still others down to business. Has anyone ever told a girl to 'please stop fucking me'?
Need to learn some pinay edicate so I can close the deal with the FH non pros. Heading to BKK next to make my own comparison about fili vs. Thai. Hehehehehe

I've been going to Thailand for years and am thinking about something new. I'm wondering how Thailand and the Philippines compare these days. I'll be making a trip in the next few months to one of the places and am trying to decide if the Philippines is worth a try.
