In VN, everybody gets some, even the cyclo guys. If you speak Viet, sky is the limit. The question is how much you are willing to spend to get the kind of girls that you want. Try the clubs, the bars, the security guys, the xe om guy, massage parlors like you said, and the coffee shops.

A word about the motorbike guy. Tell him what you want & ask him how much. If no deal is accomplished, make sure he know you owe him nothing. If he brings you a girl that you do not like, tell him to find you another one. Pick a hotel of your choice & leave all your valuables in your room. I wouldn't want to get on the back of him bike.

If you're in Nha Trang, try the Sailing Club. I'd also read the posts in Other Areas. There's a lot of valuable info there.

Just a brief comment on the comparative charms of the fair sex.... I have been absolutely convinced since visiting VN a few years ago that VN women are the most beautiful and intriguing in all of Asia. Well, this past week I visited Singapore and wandered into a club full of beautiful, leggy, high spirited young gals -- I thought I had found a bunch of VN all rated 10+. But then I found out they were all Thai! My God! They were all leggy with slim, sexy figures, most were Eurasian-looking, many had long black hair, and most had warm and gentle personalities. They were every bit as attractive and sexy as the VN ladies I've been chasing -- maybe even more so. My eyes have been opened! Seems that I should be travelling through Bangkok on my trips out to HCM....

I am reading many reports but I cannot understand. It seems that girls approach men on the streets offering service in cheap hotels or apartments. I would like to avoid high risk to be robbed (I prefer to pay 10 USD more) but it seems that good hotel do not allow you to bring girls in the room. What is the area of the city to prefer for such kind of experience? Better a salon for a new visitor with no experience in Vietnam like me? Thanks for your help.

If you want to minimize your risk, don't go with some girl who approaches you on the street. I think this is valid not only in VN, but almost anywhere. Stick to the bars if you're a newbie. Again, this is valid advice in almost any country.

"Good" hotels are either not going to let girls into the room at all, or are going to kick them out at around 10:00pm.

The short-time hotels are just fine. The bars all have one they use. If you want to find a GF mini-hotel, all the girls in the bars know all of them in the area. Just ask.

PP has it right but I prefer to use the small hotels and bring them there rather than go to ST hotels. Just like to be in control.

I use several of the small hotels around Mac Thi Boui area and rarely go out of D1.
