You make an important point though. If a reasonably attractive drama free girl is available for under 10k, why consider the ridiculous amounts that some of these girls want.
Most girls are ok with taking payment after and I also do the same / There are only rare ocassions where the girl had prior bad experience they ask for money upfront.
The quality if service may not depend on that but only types of girls ask prior one as I outlined above and second who may be sure you will not be happy with the service due to some restrictions they may have. You are right, most of the nice girls I met say they end up getting average of more than 50 messages per day and the site is flooded with men. Also when you are talking to India and abroad there are more chances for people outside India to mingle across genders socially. As you rightly said women can ask for the moon and there is a small percentage of men who pay that but others can choose what they pay. At least in Mumbai.
