My opportunities to visit Mexico are rare and especially because I need an excuse that my wife will buy. So, dropping my in-laws off in Nuevo Laredo around 6pm, my story was that I planned to cross back over and spend the night in Laredo Texas and get back in time to go to work around 10am on Monday. I dropped off my in-laws around 6pm and then headed off to another area of Nuevo Laredo so I would be unseen. I had prearranged two different plans with two different chicas in the hope that Plan B would work if for some reason Plan A did not. During my out of sight time, I start calling the two girls with no success. So, I head back downtown around 7pm and was not impressed with what I saw. I realize I was probably too early but with Plan A & B failing I decide to cross over and head to Acuna by way of Del Rio Texas.

Bridge 1 traffic takes forever and I do not cross over until around 8:30pm. I make a quick stop to eat and drive up the road as fast possible and arrive around 11:30pm in Acuna. I check into San Antonio hotel only to find that ALL the bars are closed on Sunday because of a new city law! I am no stranger to Acuna and have had much success arriving around 8pm on weeknights (back when I could get away with work week adventures) , picking up a chick from Jessie's and having my with with her until around midnight for the low price of only $60 to $80 (two to three shots on goal included). I must admit that I have even gotten Hunters quality girls for that price. Most of the girls liked the deal because they could either go back home or party the night away with the money. So, I realized 11:30pm was late but did not anticipate a law would close the bars totally down. The place was a ghost town.

I had old phone numbers but they were over 6 months old so they were worthless. I asked the guys at San Antonio hotel to help but they proved worthless. Would I have paid $100 at this point (knowing I would not return for another 6 months)? Hell yeah! Heck, I was willing to pay $20 for a taxi driver to bring me a girl. Next time, I will try sending you a private message a week before I arrive to see if you can hook a fellow traveler up. Thanks.

Forget about NLBT totally.[/QUOTE]Actually there was an article in this mornings Laredo paper saying that the violence has subsided and more people are venturing into Nuevo Laredo. And that seems to be the case downtown, it's been interesting the last couple weeks.

And yes, forget NLBT, with maybe the exceptions of Safari and Marthas, perhaps Shamrock too. It seems Danash will not re-open ever, as they removed the lettering on the building and gutted the interior.

Thanks Bbond for the information. I hope NLBT opens again actively. It was my first experience at NL 3 years ago and I remember how much fun I had. Danash is a waste of time. Went there once and returned in few min. I knew it was high end and overpriced for simply no reason.

I wish to monger in NL preferably in down town where there are common people around and it would probably be safer than BT. I do not know however if there are enough gringos crossing into NL these days.

I RTFF but I actually did not find much information about escorts in NL. I know they are expensive probably 100-125 dollars an hour but it seems safer bet. People could just stay in a chica friendly hotel in downtown and order a sweet escort. This will avoid unnecessary bar scene and possible crime related places. Just a thought. I don't know if this could be easily done in NL.

I wasn't in Nuevo Laredo or Jorochos last night. I moved back to San Diego 5 months ago. Must have been someone that looked like me. Is the Cecelia you are referencing the girl that hangs out with Laura all the time. She has a silver filling in one of her front teeth? If so then I am totally amazed that she is a thief. She and I got into a big fight one night as I was sharing a room at the Fiesta with my friend and I wouldn't get another room so we could do the deed. She was cussing me out and flipping me off in the Fiesta lobby. The night guy told me he would never allow her back in the hotel again ever. My friend told me he saw Cecelia working behind the bar at Jorochos last weekend. The ast time I was in Nuevo Laredo was the 18th and 19th of May.

On a different note, I'm wondering if you can get me some intel. I used to see a girl that worked in La Montera by the name of Letty. She was of medium height and build with streaked blond hair. Last time I saw her was last November. She was the sweetest, easy going, best woman I ever met. It's like she dropped off the face of the earth. I don't know this Letty you speak of, I can ask around a bit. She, as many girls do, hook up with some-one, husband / boyfriend gets out of jail, etc, or go back home for a period of time. They disappear for a number of reasons, but she'll probably resurface sometime in the future.

You are missing some great opportunities lately, hopefully they will still be available then, it's been quite amazing here on weekends. Seems like a lot of Monterrey girls are coming up for the weekend, maybe that will hold a while, maybe not, as the customer base does not support them.

Thinking about driving to NL tonight from the Houston area. Any advice on spending the night in NL? Like Fiesta or El Meson Del Rey? If I get a room in Larado, how far is it to Safari or Martha's or anywhere for ladies? I have been to Costa Rica, Phillipines, Thailand, etc.
