Royal Thai Restaurant "NEW In Parque Lleras"
Guys just wanted to make a note of a Thai Restaurant that has opened about 4 months ago in Parque Lleras. This place is 100% Original Thai food! The co owner Jennifer is From Bangkok and the food is awesome! Its great to give kudos to a hard working foreigner that has brought her great AUTHENTIC food to Medellin, She told me that it was VERY difficult to bring her dream of opening her restaurant in Colombia. Why? From what I gathered, there is no Colombian Embassy in Thailand and therefore she or anyone else from Thailand need to first have acquired a USA Visa in order to travel to Colombia, She said in here 4 months of being in Medellin she has never met another Thai person!
With that said, her food is 100% AUTHENTIC and she definitely deserves our business / support. If you know Parque Lleras it is on the same street as the New Juan Valdez Cafe, just walk down 1 block and its on the right hand side on the Corner, The place is very nicely decorated and gave me and my friends the impression we were back in the States at a Great Thai restaurant and the food is INCREDIBLE!
I wish Jennifer all the luck! She is trying to get her Family to Medellin to help her with her venture as she is the cook as well and works her tail off so we may have a Great Authentic Thai experience.
Hard working people like this I believe we should and need to support!

Bien o Q? Interesting chat, but I don't see much in the latest posts about mongering, which I thought was the point of this forum. Just a thought from a gringo with friends in Medellin cheking up on whats bieng posted. I love the Paisas!
Colombia Forum, Not Mexico Forum
Whose Tiny and why do we care about the history of Mexico?
This forum is for locating Chicas in Colombia.
I guess he or someone does not live that close to Baja California, Mexico or he would have spelled Tijuana correctly.

But the educated ones, the ones that are still pissed off about how we "stole" Texas and California and invaded their country a couple of times a hundred years ago, they know better.
The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo (Tratado de Guadalupe Hidalgo in Spanish) is the peace treaty, largely dictated by the United States[1][2] to the interim government of a militarily occupied Mexico, that ended the Mexican-American War (1846–1848). The treaty provided for the Mexican Cession, in which Mexico ceded 1. 36 million km˛ (525, 000 square miles; 55%[3] of its pre-war territory, not including Texas) to the United States in exchange for US$15 million (equivalent to $313 million in 2006 dollars)
Seems like California was actually paid for. Maybe the US did get a sweet deal, but in my experience we have been paying for it ever since especially in Tiajuana.
