I also don't think you would have any problems at the MPs, foreigners are perfectly welcome at these places. The one issue is that there is no anonymity in the waiting rooms, so there is the chance that you bump into someone you know on your way in or out or while waiting. I'm in a similar situation to yours and am still rehearsing a plausible excuse if I see someone I know, but haven't come up with anything yet!
