This was the only one in Pattaya, but there were others across Asia. The place has been frozen in time since 2012 when it was abruptly shut down. The signs are still up on the outside, but it's as if the porch light is on, but nobdy's home. I read this article the other day.

Most overrated bar in Pattaya
I last visited Pattaya 3 years ago and my biggest regret was never going to the Telephone bar or De La Poste.
When I returned De La Poste was one of my first stops (because it is so much closer than Telephone).
Why does no one mention how old and ugly the women in this bar are?
All you here about is how you buy a ladies drink and the tops come off and they aren't wearing any panties, how you can get a BJ or FS on site.
What no one mentions is that only 2 of the girls that work there are under 35, and one of those two is fat.
My first time there I thought I must have gone on an off night, the most attractive girl in the place was a 6 and she was with a customer.
While trying to wait on her I had 3 old women come up to me, the first 2 got the hint that I wasn't interested, the last one wouldn't leave me so I left the bar.
I tried it again when I was in the area, this time the 6 wasn't even there so I could have my choice of any old woman I wanted.
You can find just as good of a selection on beach road at 3 am.
This was just a major major let down to me and I don't want others to go there with to high of expectations. Honestly there really is no point in going at all.
Can get massage girls that are 10-15 years younger all around that area to do the same thing for the same price.
Trip report Pattaya 18-31 Jan
From Macau to Angeles city to Pattaya. This was our last stop. Was travelling with my wingman KC. We always stay at Hotel Jasmine, on soi BJ. Just off the walking street. Very quiet and being so close to the action. Price of 800 Baht for a decent superior room on the 3rd floor. I will not bore anyone with the same info about pattaya since most has been covered but I will post some observations and experiences -.
Overall girl quality seemed down, compared to only 9 months ago. We were there in April 2015. Go gos, beer gardens, ibar, insomnia, soi 7 etc. I didn't see as many young, slim, pretty, attractive girls. Don't get me wrong. There were still plenty of girls but quantity of those ones was very low IMO.
It seemed slow for the mongering. Overall, no. Of tourists is up but almost every mongering place told us that business was very slow. Even saw a couple of go gos closed down. Our hotel was probably 80% vacant. Manager said hotel was hurting big time. Many go go bars were pretty empty at 10 pm. Beer gardens everywhere seemed slow as well.
We got hooked on Sapphire go go. They've got over 60 girls. We went here every night around 8 pm to 10 pm. Their large Chang draft was only 95 baht. I drank 2 every night and bought 3 lady drinks to the girl. She always stayed with me for the entire time I was there. Kissing, grinding, massaging etc. Total bill was under 800 Baht. Can not go wrong for about $20. Some very pretty girls. Great atmosphere. No pressure to buy drinks. Pretty relaxing and fun place. From here, we moved on to What's up.
The best looking girls are in go gos, we know that. But What's up has the best looking girls of all the go gos. Many girls don't even look Thai. We went here every day as well. Upstairs or downstairs. Beautiful girls. Great attitude. For 2 drinks, girls sat with us for about an hour and we had amazing time with them every night. They've got more than 80 girls. Average girl quality is way better than any other place. Nice shows as well. From here, we moved on to ibar and later insomnia.
Girls at ibar and insomnia had more attitude than ever before. No problems finding a nice girl at the normal rate but some girls there think they are princesses. One girl, undoubtedly pretty, quoted 4000 baht ST to KC. A girl, who wasn't even attractive, quoted me 2000ST in insomnia. I wouldn't have taken her for free but I was amazed to see her attitude and confidence of commanding 2000 baht.
I'm not a big fan of soi 6. I rather take the girl to the comfort of my room so soi 7 works better for me. Again, quality was down but I was always able to find 1 to my liking. Girls had a very nice attitude there. I bar fined once for 400 Baht and 1000 baht for the girl. Next time, at a different bar at soi 7, I was quoted 500 baht bar fine and 1000 baht for the girl. Not sure if that was the rate or I got screwed over meagre 100 baht.
Windmill and sugar baby are owned by the same owner and girls were more open for dirtier acts if that's your thing. These 2 places seemed to be always packed. On another note, I don't understand why Happy go go is so busy every night. I have been there many times but never liked the girls, attitude, vibe or anything there. To each his own, I guess.
Visited Kinnarree Club in the afternoon around 3 pm. Must be a bad timing on my part because there were 3 times more guys than girls. Still had a beer and talked to a couple of girls but they seemed more professional than I was expecting. Price quoted was 500 bar fine + 1000 plus plus. I asked the girl what is plus plus. She said it's the tip. Didn't take me too long to get out of there. Never went back.
Visited Club 4 and there is another one called 007 right beside it. Nice relaxing lounges, cute girls and great attitude. Need a motorbike to go there though. Prices were BJ 300 BF + 500 girl. Full service 300 BF + 1000 girl. We went to these 2 clubs 4 times in total. Worth every time. BJ can be done right in the lounge with a curtain. They have adequate rooms upstairs for the full deed. Great service every time. Girls were willing to spend time with us and please us.
Too many chinese tourists on the walking street. Even hard to walk sometimes without bumping into people. Don't think they contribute anything to the walking street. May be to the Thai economy for flights, hotels, meals, shopping etc. Doesn't really bother me but pattaya feels like less and less mongering destination.
Everything else seemed same as before. Same establishments. Same prices. Food was good, as usual. People are nice and friendly, as ever. Will have to wait until next year to go back. I've got plans for Germany and Latin america for the rest of the year.
