I noticed people were talking about picking up girls at iBar for LT at very reasonable prices, like 1500 to 2000 baht vs 4000+ at a gogo bar.
Are the girls just much less attractive at iBar, or is it because it's more of a younger farang game at iBar? I'm in my late 20's for what it's worth, pretty average looking and looking for hot girls not average looking 30 year olds.

Yes, I'm a sarcastic prick. I simply refuse to believe, just because you had a bad experience with one Thai woman, that all Thai women are going to be the same. I'm certain there are many Thai women who will lie, cheat, steal or whatever to get your money, I'm sure there are many who despise farangs and I'm sure there are many who can't be trusted. I'm also confident, until proven otherwise, there are many who are decent, honest people who enjoy meeting people from different cultures. There are probably many who would happily cook you dinner and spend an evening learning about your home. There are probably some who want to marry a farang, to get a better life.

I have no idea about ages, but there are so many 30 ish single women with proper jobs, own apartment and car who like to meet you. You only have to angle in the right pond. OK you might have to invest a little more time, but instead of meeting small Isan girls in Pattaya, go to Ban Saen Anguila or even Bangkok, e. G. Samakhon Village or Thonlor, dress to impress and behave. Won't cost you a whole night to get a phone number and another date. But do not search for that in Pattaya or Nana.

Thanks to Banana and others for the encouragement and recos. Sapphire had a diverse selection and it wasn't full of Asian men either. Main gogos on the WS were full of Asian men. I fully understand why Thai girls prefer them. BF'd a Sapphire girl after 3 drinks and interview. I was concerned about my bill. It said coyote drink for the girl. Went to Central Mall everyday, did lots of shopping. Can't get big sizes where I live, in Vietnam. So I loaded up on Shoes, Sneakers, Trainers, underwear and stuff. Real brands too, no fake shit.
No alcohol the whole trip. This made a big difference in my behavior, attitude towards the girls, but I have to take care of my health these days.
Bus ride back was only 1 HR 45 min. Fully occupied.
Reflecting back I couldn't help but to compare Thai girls with local girls here in Vietnam. Its better for me in Vietnam. I like Vietnamese girls better. There are lots of options for me here, paid and free, however Pattaya felt like luxury living compared to the everyday hassles of Vietnam. I might go back to Pattaya but not for the women but its a cheap option with $95 flights to BKK and 122 baht bus to the beach. Next time I may just bring my own girl and be a normal smuck in Jomtien but if I was back in America in my little cubicle living a boring life with no action then Pattaya would be paradise, and I can see the attraction, and what's most important is [U]to do whatever the fuck you want to do! I've walked into some gogo's and they've always always had at least 30 working. Some like Sapphire, Baccara, Sensations, Happy and a few others have well over 80 girls at times. Easily 5000 girls are working in gogo's on any given night, of those only a small percentage are barfined long time. You can't tell me 2000 gogo girls are decending upon Ibar at 3 am. The numbers just don't add up. Yes, there are easily 200 girls crammed into Ibar and Insomnia (if not double that number), but most guys from out of town aren't going to wait until 4 am to pull something out of a club even if it saves them a couple thousand baht.
Personally I like to key into the equation the cost, the time spent with the girl in total and the total time spent fucking. X + X + X / see. If I spend 4000 baht and get ten hours of time, that's much better than spending 2000 baht and getting 2 hours. I'm happy spending 4 k for a true LT experience, I'm amazed when it happens for 1500.
P.S. A tip for those wanting to check out LK Metro. The small gogo clubs open around 7 pm vs 9 pm for Walking Street. Yes, the talent isn't as good but you can do a quick visit and found an easy and cheap way to get to WS. Simply grab a baht bus heading south on Soi Buakhao from the one end of LK Metro (by sugar sugar), that bus will go all the way to South Pattaya road, turn right and take you right to Second road by Walking Street.

His opinion is this: the girl has to sell 45 ladydrinks in ten days, after 45 (on 46,47 etc) she makes 50 baht per drink. He says the girls make no money at all on drinks 1 thru 45.
My thinking is the girls make money off of each drink, if they didn't they wouldn't be saving those drink tickets.

It will depend on the bar. Some pay for every drink, some impose minimum quota before they pay her or they fine the girl if she does not make her quotum. In either case, they have to keep the drink slips to show they reached the required number or to get payment.
As far as us mongers are concerned, the system is the same: you are expected to buy her a drink.
