Prices will probably not go down until all this is over.
Visas to the country are not cheap, either. DR is still the cheapest bang for the buck. The only thing that compares is the Philippines and Thailand but the cost of the plane ticket, from the States, makes it quite expensive.

On my first trip to Sosua I explained to a chica how much I was willing to pay her and then took her to my hotel room, ending with the fact that I would leave the following morning. Well, she caused a big scene when she was in my room. The next day the hotel owner, realizing that this was my maiden voyage, talked to me in general about problems with the chicas. From that moment on I do not tell chicas about my departure date. The chica acted up because she knew that I could not do anything about it since I was boarding the plane in a couple of hours.
I am truthful about everything else and when they lie to me all bets are off (I've had chicas who were willing to meet me in two hours yet I see them going with someone else, to do the deed, two hours later. After that, many hours later, they will approach me. If I am in the mood I will do something. If not I just tell her forget about it. If she brings it up to my attention that I promised I simply add that I waited for her but she did not show up. If she persists I just end it by stating that I saw her with another guy. She would usually deny it but I just leave her alone. She knows I am telling her the truth. (Hey, you tell a chica to meet you and she doesn't. What is a guy to do!). I try not to lie and do not make promises that I cannot keep (sometimes it is hard [no pun intended] to think rationally when a chica is slobbing your knobs and wants to meet up later! You say "yes" but later you have no more "leche" to give because she drank it all! Moral of the story: do not promise anything to a chica while your dick is in her mouth. You are thinking with the wrong head and It does sometimes work to your disadvantage). I am also careful when I brush them off ("No baby, maybe later" Later comes: "well, papi, now is later. You promised!" In this scenario a simple "no" will do.).
The last thing you want is for a chica to steal your stuff the night before and when you are packing the next day you realize this but cannot do anything about it since you are rushing out the door to get to the airport to catch a plane. Or better yet, you had a fallout and she makes false allegations and before you know it the Politur are meeting you at the airport and before you know it you have to convince them using, what I call, the presidential method (Lincolns, Washingtons, and Jacksons) before you can board the plane. Even if what they say lacks merit the point is delaying you.
Sometimes, when the chicas know you are leaving they will even try to stay with you the night before and/or tag along for more money. I've seen it and it sometimes works for the chica. The chica begs for more money or the guy has some extra pesos that he wants to discard. There are occasions where the chicas even cause delays (it has happened to me!). I always say two weeks and leave it at that.
Some of the guys are even evasive in telling other mongers. I guess something must have happened with another mongers. I know some guys who make their departure so complicated that I just get a headache just hearing their story ("well, you see, I told my novia I am leaving tomorrow but I am really just going to another hotel, and she cannot see me on the strip. And I called her friend up. But my novia does not know...etc...etc...etc..." (but she will eventually find out, as is always the case).

My buddies at home tell me to just turn off all the lights. Some feedback here about these Haitian chicas without beating me up to much would be appreciated. Seems like there are guys here from Europe that are totally enomorado (love) with these girls and I am very curious.
