Crossing border to Tijuana
My new wingmen were all impressed how quickly I can drive across the border at San Ysidro to Tijuana.
Even on busy Friday afternoon, the wait is usually only 5 minutes to cross Mexico's El Chaparral check point, nobody ever checks documents or cars, then another 5 minutes to drive through La Zona Norte to Hong Kong's valet parking. Total 10 minutes and I would be sitting in HK sipping a couple beers, ogling hot chicas for potential sessions in bed. Sure beat the hassles of going to airports with luggage, waiting in line to clear TSA check point, huffing a flight for a couple hours, collect luggage then wait to clear through DR's Imm and Customs.
A scared-cat new wingman found crossing so quick, easy and safe, he came back the next week by himself, hanging out in La Zona Norte most of the day and night, spent everything on bar and street girls to the last dollar hehe.
South Florida old policia patrol cars
Police patrol cars in South Florida, Miami, Ft Lauderdale ect are old, big, clunky, worn out sedans of the 90's. They look funny like a bunch of LA's low riders. I don't remember seeing any police car in Orlando, Tampa and in towns along the West Coast.
Yet Florida is well known for lots of crimes, high density of hardened criminals and violent drug gangs, not to mention a high percentage of mental drugs addicts in the population. Watch Al Pacino in "Scar Face" and you will have a good idea.
I have no confidence in any police department that cannot afford decent patrol cars hehe.
Uber &Taxi van route question. ?
Taxi Van
I have been taking purple and red taxi van by 4th & Ninos Hero's. But I have been unable to find how to take the white & yellow taxi vans to the border. ? I asked by 3rd & Madero st. But they directed me to 2nd st. I just wish there was current map of taxi vans in Tijuana.
Uber.
i was also noticing last night that Uber prices have doubled or tripled recently I was looking at the Uber app and fare was $6.59. Earlier this it was only about $2. Uber prices is now roughly the same price as taking Taxi.
Upstairs Clubs & Overnight Hotel Stays
Can anyone comment how staying at one of the clubs hotels works or is like with the clubs moving the clubs upstairs?
Is it practical to stay at the attached club hotel, or is it just too noisy. Do the upstairs clubs still run til 4 am?
I know Hotel Cascades is massive and Rizo De Oro is pretty big too, but what about Coahuilla and Jalos. Jalos (Chicago Club) only has 2 floors, is not that big, and lots of working chicas stay at the hotel. I don't think Coahuilla is much bigger than Jalos, but have ever been in the hotel.
I wonder if Adelita and Chicago Club would even rent out overnight rooms when the clubs are forced to operate upstairs.
