I haven't actually gone in to have a beer but they have a big Serbian national flag up in the bar and I thinks its called Serbian Bar or some such. But I hear it's not the only one in town. So maybe this isn't the one you are looking for.

I think you are wise to stay clear of the Meth dealer chick. She sounds like a great find in bed but you could get into so much damned trouble with the authorities just by guilt through association (they are just looking for any excuse to shake down falangs). Too many fish in the Pattaya sea to take that risk.

I have returned to Pattaya after a couple of years or so. Boy, things have changed on the beach. So many vendors you can barely walk. And the amount of free lance girls along the water front seems to have declined. I arrived two days ago and spent most of my first day walking around taking it all in. Yesterday I had two girls off of the beach for 500 baht each. I had another girl offer to go for 400 baht. But she didn't want to take a taxi to my hotel, oh well. Next!

Does anyone know if there's any resource online with the schedule of when the bloody market will be open? It happened to me a few times to go to Pattaya and have it disrupt my hunting.

Unfortunately, the number and quality of girls (including no-market days) is significantly down compared to a few years ago. Moreover, there are very few, if any, daytime girls, the action starts after 7 pm, whereas earlier there were substantial numbers out at 4 pm, even earlier. Much more relaxed, the daytime scene. Among other things, the sidewalk renovation (removing all seating) significantly changed to Beach Road scene for the worse. Before there were plenty of semi-pros sitting around and relaxing (most still available for a leisurely ST), but now only the hardcore pros who are OK with standing and prefer not to go to other venues, and want to maximize throughput.

The last chick I brought to my place off 3rd Road and she made it back on her own. 500 baht. She did have a motorbike there because she asked if we would take hers or mine and I said mine. My experience has been quite different from yours. I was there last year in April and then in October. Both times, I was very satisfied with the quality and quantity on Beach Road. You may have just been unlucky, or you may be very picky.

For me, the action started right around lunch time. Every day, after I had lunch, I would walk along Beach Road and I had no problem finding a decent girl. However, it was much better in the evening. As a result, after a few days I had met some fine young ladies, got their contacts, and started having them come straight to my hotel.

Some say yes, most say no, but it s what I like to do so I just pass the ones that refuse me. I payed a lot extra sometimes to get that, but I am not sorry because I have a great memory afterwards.
