The majority of the GPs are not mulatas and negras.
I think it can be misleading to say that half of the population in Brazil is white. You'll find branca, morena clara, morena escura, mulata, negra, indians, japanese etc. It might depend on if you speak about races or skin colors.
Most brazilian women i meet with light skin color consider themselves morena clara.
The beauty with mongering in Brazil is that you can find such a mix of colors and shapes.
