Good service and over tipping and other reflections.
I read his comment not as she threw him off of her, but rather her acting job took him out of the headspace he was in and took him out of the moment. I'm guessing it was good service aside for the poor acting, hence the tip.
Indeed you read correctly, good service overall.
As loveithere69 says, 50 k tip to waitress was too much, I had started out giving her 5 k but she kept bothering me, with the 50 k she was kissing my hand was super attentive which can be helpful when it's busy, but still too much.
I'm of 2 minds on the girl tip, I come from a culture of non tipping, so I occasionally get my priorities mixed up, standard service in my head means no tip, service above means think about tip, but here standard or good service is actually IMO service above the normal and I should be thinking about tipping.
A couple other thoughts on the night, my grab ride to classic appeared to be with an off duty / ex police man he had a uniform on the front seat, inc high vis, badge on the dash and his car was fitted with horns and lights which he used to push through traffic at certain points, made for an interesting ride.
Also as I was waiting for my grab to leave, spotted another Anglo on his way out, we give each other a nod and a hey, solidarity in minority 😆 only the 2nd white guy I've spotted in classic this trip, we knew what we were about, following the same hobby, anywhere else and we'the barely notice one another.
