I seem to recall a local news story some time ago that the building was going to be re-purposed, but was unable to find that story when I went looking for it.
It was an interesting complex that offered a somewhat different experience than P. Burgos or LA Cafe, so choice was good. I guess it will take a few more years of hopefully improved stability before we see more options like this again.
Just back from two weeks in the Phils. Some thoughts and commentary.
I started in Cebu. Four days at Quest and then to the Seda. The Quest wifi frequently didn't work and the tv never worked so I moved to the Seda, formally the Marriott.
Cebu is a dating site town. I had lots of matches and chats etc and the distances were short but there seemed to be a larger percentage of girls 'looking for serious' than normal. This made for heavy work. On the second day however, I met a 21 yo, 92 lb beauty and she stayed for a few days. Beautiful and accommodating. But I'm a short timer at heart.
Tiring of endless texting I flew to Angeles. $220 with PAL! Four nights at ABC on Expedia was about $140 a night. I ventured into a few bars but was turned off by the low class demeanor of the bargirls with their forced good time attitude and the endless pressure to choose. It had been so long since I had been in the bar scene that I forgot what turned me off about it. Actually, there is a solution. If the stage is a little bit distant from from the punters, this allows you to choose without the constant eye contact of the girls. Gold and Lollipop were reasonable options for me, however, I was thinking of the little honey in Cebu and I flew her up for a few days which was great.
Day game: Actively searching for attractive girls on the street. I like to engage in this as a nice part of the combo of hookers and dating site girls. It means the pot is always boiling. There's always possibilities. I find the the petite Filipinas with their demure ways very attractive as I walk the streets of Makati and over the years have had some unforgettable experiences. I wouldn't solely concentrate on this because when you have the urge you can't wait and need some pro to help out, but it can be very sweet when it pays off.
Problem: Masks. Makati is still relatively empty. I think there's still a mask mandate in the NCR. And the girls that are around are masked. So you can't see their faces and therefore what's the point.
Nice trip but definitely not the equal of trips in years before the pandemic.

I was there in May and drove by in a taxi. The Taxi drivers will try and take you to the "NEW EDSA" but it's nothing like EDSA and is very expensive.

And that is Air Force One / flight 168.
Really sucks. That was just the best place over the years. I always got surly and crappy service at the Quezon places (Kremlin, etc.). Flight 168 was the one place with always good looking girls and always nice.
I like good in-call places the best. No fooling around with lady drinks at bars. No fooling around with questionable street walkers. No walk of shame at your accommodation. No looks from the staff after calling a massage girl to your Airbnb. No screwing around with often unproductive interactions on dating sites (though dating sites certainly produce, it's just that it takes a little bit of work). No passing furtive notes to waitresses. You just get in there, have a great experience, and you are ready to face the rest of your free time with a smile on your face until next time you go back.
Sadly it looks like the end of an era. Really sucks.
Where is the NEW EDSA?
There is no new Edsa. The place they take you to is a few minutes ride by taxi so it's in the same general area. There are a few clubs close to each other (not connected in any way) however, once they get you in the door they hit you with a cover charge, I don't remember the exact amount but it was around 1,500 php I think? There were some shows on the stage and it was a Korean crowd. I was the only Caucasian in any of those locations. Nothing like EDSA.

To be fair they were very clear about the cover charge when entering, we were going in at like 3:00 am after we left Edsa on a night out. It was 1500 PHP each, guys I was with were smashed. Think we left around 5:00 am, bill was not too surprising, north of 10 k, but I did argue about some of things that had been added. 2400 PHP for three small tubes of Pringles, that we didn't even eat, sticks in my memory. They did take these off bill and I didn't feel threatened arguing it.
Girls that sat with us were nice enough and they were happy to show everything, shows were ok, not on scale of those in Amsterdam or anything but ok. Totally agreed, not like a Gogo, but something interesting to do once (or twice if you find someone you really like).

There along the street catering mostly to locals and Koreans / Japanese.
They normally have girls on stage, some of which dance erotic dances half naked, some of which just dance fully clothed, you can call for a lineup and have a girl sit with you for which you pay for a certain amount of time. They also have private "KTV" rooms where the guys will put together a couple of couches for you to fuck the girl you selected. Take out is also an option however I remember it being less common and more expensive than Burgos.
In any case it's nice for a change of scene from EDSA (rip) and Burgos but much shadier and more expensive.
I'll be back after more than 3 years in 10 days. Pretty excited to report my findings.
Happy punting.

One I went in was Titan Z which is in that area, but this was a fair while ago. Plenty of reviews on Google stating people feel they'd been ripped off. Taxi driver took us there from Edsa when colleague asked him to take us somewhere fun once that had closed, driver was obviously on a huge commission as he offered to wait for us.
Hello everybody.
What is the regular price for a shortime with a girl from la café?
I paid 3000 php for 1 hour at my hotel room. She told me she will stay 3 hours but she left at 1 am.
Thanks.

I usually drop in there when in Malate but I don't like the vibe and from my perspective its full of uglies on the old side. I asked one young and pretty and she wanted 6000 peso and that was 3 years ago I knocked her back, went back to the hotel got a girl on Wechat for 3000 for 2 shots to find she had just turned up at LA cafe and I waited 30 min for her to get to me. For girls off dating sites I pay 3000 to 5000 for 2 shots or overnight. I pay 2500 if over about 24. I now have some regulars that if I cannot get a deal I like I have a fallback but its always interesting to try some new.

Also you contradicted yourself. You paid for one hour, but she said she will stay for 3 hours? Which is it (can't be both). How long did she stay (you said what time she left, but you didn't say what time she arrived)?
I can't say what is the regular price, as prices were relatively stable before pandemic (about 1500 or 2000 for ST). The bar closed for 1 year at the start of pandemic. At the re-opening, it was a restaurant only. Later it went back to its nawty ways, and I don't know if there is currently a 'regular price' at this time. Paying p3000 for 1 hour is just fine, and paying p1000 for 1 hour is just fine.
WC.

WC.
On my previous visit in April I noticed similar but also more business like. Its why I didn't report, a dud trip except for two regulars, both GFE as usual. I mostly did Burgos which may be the issue as I think girls there now may be all business. I was quoted 4 or 5 k how long I stay up to you. Price did not seem to vary. While I usually stay away from 9 or 10's although those were very few, these girls were average. Flirt in bar some drinks then back to room. Shower. Do the deed she washes off gets back in bed picks up phone. None refused me when more action needed and seemed into it during the act but everytime, washes off, back in bed picks up phone. No GFE, no cuddle, no affection. No nothing. This happened 6 or 7 times except for the regulars who were great. I finally gave up and just stuck with the regulars.
Prior to COVID bars opened at 3 or 4 pm. Go in for happy hour cheap beer and bar fine. Girls seemed to flirt more then and were happier and almost all barfines ST or long were usually GFE.
Maybe its just me but it does not seem the same post COVID or I just had really bad luck.
