Standing there waiting for your payout is not the safest activity in the world to do. Criminals and gangs of petty thieves are watching those places like hawks waiting for the next out-of-shape, half drunk westerner to stumble up waving a months pay at the booth.

We had a guy on here not too long ago that got robbed and about got his eye poked out while standing there with his back to the street. He was just not paying attention.

Has happened to me more than once. I have no qualms about going back to the bar and (trying to) get a refund or at least express displeasure. I have been able to get refunds but not after any festivities have taken place. A couple of times the girl just would not put out and that was grounds for a refund. Experience has taught me that before I pay and leave, I explain my expectations to the girl in the presence of the mamasan.

Not much one can do if a girl decides to run, they have obviously done this many times and got away with it so now it has become the norm.

As for paying after as some have suggested, this does not solve anything, the girl even if a runner will still demand full payment, don't pay and the cops will be called and will cost many times the barfine to get out of.

I do happen to know this girl and am surprised she is now demanding 3000 pesos for her time, how times have changed in our little dust bowl.

Why not just walk across the road to the mall and change money at the bank which carries little risk of robbery or the chance of getting less money by slight of hand or as some have reported receive fake money.

There are certain unwritten rules when you take a girl from the bar. What is promised at the bar with or without the presence of mamasan goes out of the window if the girl decides that she will not honor it for one reason or the other. There are instances where punters have gone back to the bar and have gotten a refund. This only happens if you are a regular customer and friendly to the mamasans. But if you had inserted your penis even one second the deal is considered fulfilled.

When I used to to visit AC long time ago regularly things were different. Yes, I have had girls leave after one shot giving one of the many excuses. But the incidence was very low. Nowadays on my travels it is strictly with normal girls. Yes, I have taken my girlfriends to AC because they have heard about it. I know it is like taking sand to the beach but I like the atmosphere, glitz, watching all the crazy things going on, nobody even watches what yo do etc. I have had many girls who live in the provinces come and stay with me and have a good time.

Nowadays the bar owners or mamasans cannot do anything. Talk about being fired from the job is nothing to worry about as far as the girl is concerned. There are numerous bars who will hire her if she is halfway decent looking without regard to her history.

Runners are very common. I am sure it has happened to all the mongers. At the same time there are girls there who give memorable experiences leading to PPD. So one has to take good with the bad.

Anyone who is not well known will find great difficulty in getting anyone involved in the bar including the mama to admit to prostitution goes on in the bar let alone discuss what position and for how long.

Blame the recent constant raids, mama arrests, owners arrests, bar closures and huge money paid to open the bars up again after being raided and we are left with why many refuse to discuss bar fines openly.

What we are left with most times is girls that are not willing to barfine and if they are they are often runners, why do the girls do this, simply because they can.

She did agree to it and I confirmed with her at least twice or thrice. I remember that you had told me last trip in December to be explicit about all expectations especially timing. I had a girl bail out on me at 8 am and it was my first experience that time. All girls in that trip and before had stayed well till afternoon. Never had issue with 4 girls in manila and 1 girl in AC so far in this trip.

I did manage a decent pop and so did Blanquiceleste. I will not engage with the Bar for refund. But I have warned fellow members to be extra cautious when engaging with this girl or any girl from this bar. Somehow we got a feeling that this might be a recurring behavior in Kings Landing as both girls made silly excuses and left 30 minutes apart.

There's another solution: skip the bars entirely (most of them are crap anyway) and focus on the streets, High Society, chat apps and internet (DIA, Facebook, etcetera).

Just had an interesting discussion with the owner of the ABC Hotel. He was explaining to me the huge cost incurred in building a sewage treatment facility--in compliance with a new ordinance--for the new wing of the hotel. He told me that prior to the enactment of the ordinance, all waste was routed to storm drains, and then discharged directly, untreated, into the river. Given that most buildings in Angeles were constricted prior to the new local law, including the three extant buildings of the hotel, they are exempt. Thus, virtually all human and animal waste continues to be discharged directly into the river.

I asked f he knew anything about the waste disposal practices in Manila. He said that as far as he knows, Makati has had strict waste treatment ordinances in place for years, so Ayala, for example, spends hundreds of thousands to dollars designing and building sewage treatment facilities for its buildings. The rest of Manila. As far as he knows, doesn't have similar laws, and thus sewage is discharged into the river.

If what he said is true, and I have no reason to doubt that it is, anyone who drinks t water here is probably running a risk.

[/QUOTE]I have gotten refunds on 5 occasions and no one at the bar had ever seen me before; three would not perform and two were having their period and did not tell me. I went back to the bar with the girl in tow. The confrontation was not pleasant. I stated my case and did not lose my temper. This happened 3 times in AC, once in Sabang and in Barretto.

Once in Sabang I was refused a refund on the grounds that this was a matter between the girl and me. In Sabang the bar keeps the barfine and the girl makes her money in the form of a tip that you pay when she leaves. I have never been more angry.

A more perfidious customer would have come back to the bar with a tube of super glue and secretly sabotaged something or other.
