Return trip to scandallo.

Went on Thursday night. The place was jumping with good music. Earlier went to the Bruno Mars show with my girlfriend and a hot blonde swingy Scandallo Garota. We had a Good time sitting up front listening to the local band. Finally know the words to those popular Brasilian songs. Crap! The garota prices seem to have increased a lot. Luckily my girl and I met an old flame. She gave a discount for couples. We agreed on $800 reais all night at Luah Motel. Get the room with the swimming pool. It has inflatable pool toys. Enjoyed going up to DJ booth to hangout when the main room becomes too crowded. Its like having a vip private area. Sorry yall had to listen to our music request but I tipped the DJ to play our request and give us a shout. The night was an awesome experience. Scandallo is the most addictive place.

Bradesco does not charge ATM fees and I decline the currency exchange option. Yesterday withdrew $2500 reais per transaction. $2500 reais cash x three transaction $7500 reais cash from Bradesco lobby ATM. In the olden days, last year, the amount was $3000 reais for each withdrawal.

Also, I do not want the security alert from my bank blocking the card until verifying the transaction. So after much trial and error with otherbbank ATM I stick with Bradesco as the most consistent ATM withdraw for my card. Just in case there is a fraud alert message I keep the phone handy to reply quick.

The standalone Bradesco ATM in gas stations, metro, or shopping malls I was given $1000 reais per transaction.

This is my limited experience figuring out what works for how I roll. None of this is a definitive statements as the fellas here have reported many many different experience with ATM and banks.

Experienced boate guy but never much liked the Clinica daytime scene. Too point and shoot for me. I like the socializing in the club and picking my prey over a relaxing time. I will have some daytime on my hands for a change. Any recommendations how to spend and afternoon pre-Scandallo? I can of course try the daytime scene there but wondering what alternatives exist? Suggestions welcome.

Ended up chilling and chatting up the ladies there. No feeling of being rushed.

Ever on the alert to avoid days when venues are closed, I'm wondering about these two upcoming holidays. Nov 15 - Republic Proclamation Day; and Nov 20 - Black Consciousness Day. Does anyone know if the usual places (Scandallo, Bomboa, Clinicas, etc) will be open those days. Thanks. Will post in General Brasil also.
