Cheapest way would be to use the trolley $5. Taxi would be about $50 and renting a car plus parking fees and fuel would be crazy.

You can take a taxi or bus or walk to the trolley depot. Make sure you get a copy of the times it runs for your return trip.

Cross the border, then take a cab. Offer the driver $3 for a ride to the zona. Many drivers will ask $5 but they will all come down $3. Just tell the driver "Hong Kong" or "Adelita's". They are right next to each other. Those are the two best places. Hong Kong is a little younger and livier with more of a hustle. They constantly have sex shows going on. Adelita's has some older broads and not as wild. No sex shows or anything like that. There's other places too like Las Chavelas and Tropical that are okay sometimes. And the alley behind the main block is full of street girls. I would recommend staying in Tijuana if you can. Hotel Ticuan is very nice for about $50 night. It's a $3 cab ride away from the action. From America Plaza, next the the Amtrak (train) station it is a forty-five minute ride to San Ysidro. When the trolley stops look for the people walking over the bridge and follow them. Upon entering Mexico you can take a yellow cab for $5. 00 (USD) to the Zona, if you continue past them to the street, you can get a white cab for $3-5. Tell them you want to go to Hong Kong. Do not let them tell you about other places.

Once in the Zona there are five main haunts, with three Hong Kong, Adelitas, Chicago Club (after about ten at night) that cater to Gringos. The other two Tropical and Las Chavelas are in between locals, and gringo's bars. There are many other bars around the Zona which are mainly local type bars. Behind the entries of the bars is what is known as "the alley". This is where Street Girls hang. Negotiate everything up front. They will start out with about $20 but it will be very minimum of service. For $30, or so, you should get "sin ropa" (without clothes) , and possibly a CBJ. The hotel will be another $5. 00, or so. The reason I am saying that is that, some years back, I entered the Us with a visa on my old passpoprt, while travelling with the new one. Allowed, no problem. I then went to tijuana with the valid passport, but forgot the old one which had the visa. On my return, I was held up at the immigration office for the few hours that it took people in my hotel in San Diego to find the old passport and bring it to the office. Check my reports back, I told the whole story.

Otherwise, I never miss a chance to go doawn to Tijuana whenever I happen to be in SD. Hong Kong club is unique in the world. Make sure you have tons of 1£ bills.

Something I should have said better, you do not have to pick up the blue line trolley at America Plaza (Amtrak Station). The Blue line runs all the way from Old Town to San Ysidro.

The trolley stations between Old Town & City college will be closed the weekends of Oct. 21-23 & Oct. 28-30. They will have shuttle buses that take you to City college Station where you can get on the Blue Line for San Ysidro. They have a map of the bus stops. If you take the trolley for your return and have a flight to catch, please add some time to your travel. The bus will make stops and probably add some time to the journey.

Anyone that takes the Amtrak and gets on at America Plaza, it will be temporarily moved to C St. Between Columbia & State Streets until some time in December. It appears that you could still get on the trolley at the Amtrak Depot, with the exception of the weekends above.

Decided to make a trip down south a couple of days earlier than usual.

Monday:

I decided to stay at the Travel Lodge at San Ysidro, $30 / night.

Parked at the $5 prepay parking and headed down to HK.

Arrived at HK Monday and watched MNF. Pretty cool just chillin there drinking a beer in one hand and an ass on the other while keeping my eyes on the game. Wasn't too crowded, plenty of booths and plenty of seats at the stage.

Well I just couldn't wait for Friday, once I got it in my head about a visit this weekend, I thought I would just start early with a Thursday night visit.

Go into HK about 11pm and made a couple of laps to see who was working. Saw a few chicas I that interested me, but they all were occupied, considering it was a slower night.
