Thanks[/QUOTE]I don't think it's allowed to post emails here but put together hotel and dorse to one word and then after "at" put africaonline. Co. Ke.
Or search by google "hotel dorse mombasa email"
You'll find it there.
Don't know if it's working though.

Hello fellow party animals,
I am going to Mombasa on 22nd February & will be staying for a week or so before moving on to Tanga, Tanzania to visit a friend. Is there anyone in Mombasa that I can connect up with while there?.I will be coming back to Mombasa after a long weekend in Tanzania. I have done the package tour to Mombasa before & it was expensive & not girl friendly (& I.
Ended up sacrificing my expensive room on many occasions!). I have some concerns & I am sure they have been covered before in previous postings but any updates would be.
Much appreciated :
Transport from airport to Bamburi, Nyali or Mtwapa. Is it safe to just negotiate at airport?. I have heard rate is around 3500 ks?
Hotel or apartment. I guess for short stay, hotel is best. Any recommendations?
Cheap hotel or apartment. Is there somewhere safe to put cash / other valuables?
Best spots for girls these days?
Any assistance would be much appreciated. Especially if someone local or expat can help while there.

Transport to Bamburi. Airport taxi asks for 2500, I offered 1700 (what I paid last time). Split the difference and settled on 2000. I think the real price is 1500 though.
Hotel? Only one suggestion. Kahamas.
Best spot for girls? Everywhere! Start at Tembo, Il Covo, Casuarina, Florida (in town) etc. On the weekends.
Just negotiate. 1800KES should be ok from airport to bamburi. Imo Kahama is the best for a short stay. Rate is 3750KES per day.
Cheers, Casaurina and Tembo are the best mongering places at nighttime. Daytime Pirates and big tree.
Enjoy your holiday!
