The Muslim Brotherhood have been repressed by the Mubarak regime for 30 years now so the falling of the regime was a sigh of relief for them and a chance for them to climb to power which is what they wanted to do back in 1981 when Sadat was assassinated, and believe me they are VERY organized and they are ALOT. Some would disagree with me but I would put their numbers to at least half of the Egyptian population! And bear in mind that alot of Egyptians are not members of the Brotherhood per se but they have fundamentalist tendencies and so would join the ranks in a heartbeat. On the other hand you have the interests of the west (US.) who would not allow a radical regime in Egypt because of Israel. So it all boils down to whether the scale will favour the will of the people or the interests of the west!
