Possibly it's the photos of dead bodies lying in the streets, clouds of tear gas, molotov cocktails being thrown, and high end shopping malls being turned into burned out hulks that has dissuaded some of us.

Less tourists going to Thailand doesn't mean the amount of women remains the same. In fact, they will hear there are not sex tourists and they will stay in Isan. There might actually be a much worse ratio now and make it less pleasant to "vacation" there with the girls. They may flee Bangkok for Pattaya. But if Pattaya becomes an "issue", too. Then who knows?

Less money flowing into their economy is a lose, lose, I think. Not a win, lose.

Just my opinion.

I live in Bangkok but go to Bali as often as I can, which is not nearly often enough.

The only thing Bigcebu is right about is that it is NOT just a sex destination. Thank God.

If your one and only purpose in traveling is to fuck wh*res, Bali is not for you.

But if you want to have a great holiday, experience a place which has an ambiance like none other on this planet, surf a bit, dive a bit, mountain bike, jungle trek etc etc (all these within an hours drive of your hotel) AS WELL AS screw yourself silly with some of the cutest girls in the world then Bali is a fine choice.

Bali is a great island, but Jodomas has asked for a sex trip with beer bars and all that shit. That's why I said: Stay away from Bali and it's very very limited P4P business.

Bali doesn't have very very limited P4P business. It just has a very different scene than the lady bars of the the Thai variety. I would argue that Sanur has as much available action as any place in Thailand short of Pattaya or lower Sukhumvit in Bangkok. Once you figure out the scene in Bali, there is more P4P action on offer than anyone would ever need. Certainly, on my last trip to Bali, I had as much action, with as hot ladies, as I've ever had in Thailand. Typical cost was 250K rupiah for short time including the tip for the lady.

I would say several hundred for sure. Certainly they outnumber the punters, which is a more important criteria than the absolute number. I'd guess that they range from 15 to 35. It's a good idea to avoid the 15-17 year olds.

The unrest is only in Bangkok and even then, only in a well-defined, cordoned off area. There hasn't been a single violent incident related to the demonstrations in Pattaya, and the red shirts in general have shown no inclination towards random violence to anybody and to foreigners in particular - they are eager to be seen as a legitimate political group.

While bragging about your latest non-pro adventures may be fun, it really doesn't help out other people at all. What is helpful to other forum members is reviews of places and experiences that can actually be repeated by others (e.g. R&T's, MP's, clubs, etc.). It's also useful to hear prices you paid so that we can keep a pulse on what the going rate is, etc.

Again, as with JustBlue, please don't take this personally I'm just trying to increase the overall usefulness of this forum. You can be sure that I will contribute some reports when I visit.

For anyone to say that Bali is not a P4P is crazy. You would have to be a leper or so damn ugly that money doesnt count not to get laid continuously in Bali.

I literally cant walk down a legian street without being propositioned at least every 30 feet. And as to bar areas there are like 10 bars alone where you can get an average girl and then the upper end where the more expensive girls hang out.

Without naming names, if you arent finding girls in Bali its because you are so cheap that you want to pay less than $20 for a girl or so incredibly hideous that they all run.

I think one of the problems is that people are trying to compare bali with other places (like pattaya or other places in LOS) they visited and find disappointment when its not the same. Yes, P4P is in Bali but remember this is Bali and not Pattaya or Bkk.

Prof. , you lucky dog, I've never been offered every 30 feet, it's more like every 3miles for me--my age and wrinkles must be showing.

Also, not all places have P4P around. Those living near or on big resorts will find it much harder if they don't leave the resort area as they cater more to couples and families and don't like FL on their property.

If you been to Philippines and LOS alot then Jakarta would be better suited as its probably the most similar. More concentration of ladies and bars etc.

Bali will have less ladies in general as it is not a major city like Jakarta (maybe 50x more action), but bali is more scenic and laid back with plenty of beaches and resorts. So no real pro or con, just what type of surroundings you prefer as P4P is available at both, but at a much different scale.--IMO

I can see why some guys are negative about Bali. I like mongering in Bail, but it took me a while to figure it out. Even then, I still rely on help from time to time – so, without telling you the back story" a public “thank you” to ProfDesigner for a great introduction. But Bali can look slow to new-comers.

I was in Bali last week I didn’t want to go for the MP action, at least on the first night, and my Tagged connections all let me down. All my usual hunting spots were really dead. For example, I went into Paddy’s about 10:30 and there were no working girls. None, nada, zip. There were families with kids at the tables near the door, for gosh sakes!

I went over to the Minimart by the Ramada and the ladies there were…no, no way. Santa Fe café had some predatory Aussie chicks but they were …again no, no way. I was going down to Double Six when my taxi driver offered a reasonable deal. After meeting the girl, my night was made.

The next day, I was having a legit massage when I was offered a “happy ending”. I wasn’t interested in a HJ and said no, unless a BJ. No problem, but a different girl was brought in to “do the deed”. We do live in an era of a specialization but this was strange.

That night, I tried Melati spa on Jl Dewi Sri near Bali Galleria, based on a field report. The Spa area was really quiet and the reception area was dead empty. I took a VIP room at 300 IDR (as previously reported). The place is very well kept up. It reminded me of Alexis in Jakarta.

At the desk, you pick a number, without having a clue about what the girl looks like. (Again strange!) I did ask for someone who had some English and found out that the “basic” rate is 600 IDR. That took a second to hit me, but like I said, Melati reminded me of Alexis, where the rate is even higher. So I said, wtf?

The girl they chose for me is a knock-out. It was actually a good thing I knew the rate, or I might have ended up buying her a house! The nicest boobs in Bali (C+ and maybe D ) and a really good figure.

We spent a very pleasant few hours together. I set up an incentive program for multiple pops and she said, after round one, that it was time to quit because she already came twice! It might even have been true.

Anyway, I had a great time in Bali and enjoyed my mongering, too. Bali is Bali…and as Sharka says, not Pattaya or Bkk.
