He said I would have to pay the police a 400 baht fine and pay 200 baht to the impound yard.

We went in Pizza Company and had our meal. When I finished my girl told me to go ahead outside and get the motorbike taxi and start the process then pick her up back at her place off Kopai 4.

Although I agree with you that you didn't quite work the math on the risk / reward ratio. At 20 vs 800, you essentially took the risk that your bike would not be towed at 40-1 odds! And, the cops probably are waiting for the next guy to do that. I doubt too many Thais in Pattaya at that location would park a bike where you did. So the cops also probably knew whose bike (in terms of Thai vs non Thai) that they were looking at.

You'll forget about it pretty much in 2 weeks, except probably when you go to the Pizza Company again! Trying laughing at yourself in your mind. I find that sometimes that has therapeutic value for me when I screw up! .

With other things we negotiate (apart from multiple pops or anal), we're pretty much stuck with paying, even if their effort is intentionally so bad they provide no satisfaction whatsoever. No self-respecting guy would try to avoid paying a hooker because her BJ was not to his liking, or she stayed a few minutes less then agreed... but if she agrees to 2 pops and delivers 1 (or agrees to anal and refuses), then it's obviously OK, and easy to justify cutting the pay accordingly.

And he probably did not use the exact word anal in his request. He was just using that to relay the idea in his report.

But in the last 2 years many freelancers said yes upfront and then refuse to do it in the room, this is my experience.

Headed out about 1 am. Went into Insomnia. NO cover and you can wear what ever you like. The usual crowed room with the same loud techno music. Maybe I just hadn't woken up from my slumber. Had three beers. Insomnia offers a membership card good for discounts on drinks. The card is 500 baht. But instead of paying the 180 baht or so per domestic beer, you pay 150 baht (or something like that). Sorry guys, I didn't pay too much attention to the details on that one. Bottom line, drink enough and the card will pay for itself. Keep drinking and you're that much more ahead of the game. I saw a couple of girls with thick legs and asses. Guess I need more then three beers to get me going. Ran into a girl I took from there a couple nights earlier. We just said Hello, and that was as far as I wanted it to go. I remember she was a great time but I wanted fresh meat. About a quarter to 3 am I headed to The Marine Disco. Same same, no cover and no dress code. And there were even places to sit. Too bad they don't offer Tiger Beer there. Ran into another girl I picked up from the Beach Walk a few days ago. Cracked the seal on my Second beer at The Marine Disco and saw a shorty with thick thighs, round butt and a big smile. Had to say Hello,. We danced a few songs and went back to her table. No, the real reason you see less hot girls on the beach is not because working in a-go-gos is desirable, I think it is because of the police harassment aspect.

The hottest women I've seen in Thailand are in the gogos and who's hot is subjective.

She quoted 1000 baht short time", that's telling me it was the price that was the reason he walked away. I'm betting the "lousy attitude" was based on her not wanting to accept less than 1000. So he passed on a "very good looking young spinner" to go with a "thicker girl for 700 baht". Very good looking young spinners are hard to come by on beach road, I found one on my last trip and happily paid her 1000 baht. My point is 300 baht can easily be recouped by cutting out a few overpriced beers, walk into a 7-11 and crack a beer before going into a bar, this was my routine pretty much everywhere I went. Before walking into a bar with no draft specials I'd stop into a store for a cheap beer to chug down to keep me from chugging down expensive beers in the bars.
