I notice a LOT of wasted energy on these Tijuana boards by (presumably) grown-ass men arguing over stupid, petty shit. Much more so than the other Tijuana forums I read occasionally. These boards should be about sharing information. Some info certainly more solid than others. So can personally appreciate anyone attempting in good faith to provide helpful info, even if I disagree with it or find it to be poorly written, etc. As you stated, we all have our own preferences. Some prefer bar girls while others prefer escorts or street girls; some might like skinny, younger girls while others like thicker, more mature women; some might look to bang 3-4+ girls a night while others are perfectly content with 1-2, etc. Some dudes even prefer to just hang out at the clubs, spending hundreds a night on drinks and tips just looking at or flirting with the girls without going arriba with any of them. To each his own and IMO posters should respect the preferences of others instead of bashing them as I see folks on here sometimes doing.

Mexico has been requiring US citizens to have passports since before Trump, sometime after 911 as 911 gave our government freedom to crack down on a lot of our previous freedoms. What happens is USA calls most of the shots with Mexico, and obliges as long as we allow them to keep making money in trade. Then is permitted to act like its their idea, to save face. If you notice even now, the current supposed lockdown between countries, each time it gets extended it seems Mexico announces it 1st. But whose kidding who, USA makes that decision. Just like the remain in Mexico situation for people from Guatemala and other countries. At any rate, despite the media, trumps border has been wide open for Mexicans. Previously if Mexican got caught sneaking in they could get arrested 2nd or 3rd attempt. Now? A Mexican can try cross 30 to 60 times a month, as they get taken to border immediately. I've read articles some Mexicans said they tried and got caught over 30 times in less then a month. Sometimes I'm surprised anyone is left in Latin America when its so easy to get in.

Thought there had been some sort of stricter enforcement enacted after Trump took office.

So don't have to worry anymore about showing them a birth certificate or passport application, thanks. My question now though is how many people with actual, valid passports have they been pulling into the back room and pressuring them to pay the $20/$30 fee? Is it most or maybe just a small percentage? Does bringing a partially completed FMM form from home to customs maybe help avoid the back room?

Those not carrying a passport should be given a hard time going and coming from Mexico. Deny entry to Mexico if the don't have a passport. Automatic secondary if they somehow went to Mexico. Mexico has to understand the US is not sending their best people if they don't have a passport.

You'll only get one stamp in the passport and you're golden. What's this infernal fussing about a piddly $30 that everyone's making?

Any thoughts on what's going to happen after Jan 26th when you need a negative Covid test to get back into the US? If this is enforced it will surely be chaos at the border with many people being denied entry. Or have some same day testing shops popped up?

Also, it is not PCR. The antigen test, which is faster and cheaper, is fine.
