yeah, i screwed up big time! just like you and lots of others on this forum i have developed a good reputation. now, these gringos have hurt me! as you, mr. e, probably know, girls take notice of gringos who act as if they are too good to be in brazil.

i broke with those guys and hung out and will hit the spot everyday this week to make up for that mistake. but man, there was one girl who walked off from me!

anyway, i went to another spot and i just got the phone number of a girl who did a few scences with evasive angels and also some other stuff (latino oriented porn). she was speaking fast porto so i only caught parts. apparently, she either has a stomach ache or is pregnant, but she did not agree to come over tonight. she did give me her number and i also noticed her boss was watching and trying to listen. he knows whats' up! i think she was partly trying to avoid trouble. this is a regular retail store and girls can get in big trouble for "prostitution." no flames i already know this is a fact in this place.

It sounds like some in the group showed a lack of class once you hit your spot. Whenever I introduce someone to new to the scene to a new place, I never take their dislike personally. I try to gauge their likes and dislikes before I take them. If it turns out I was off base, then so be it.

Again, I am not condoning behavior that is rude and disrespectful. A person standing outside yell inconsiderate comments is just stupid.

Also couldn't you have said the guys bought my beers, instead of blacks. Again, at least one of the people you met seemed to exhibit manners.

You should put things in perspective.

Influx of sex-tourism money counts for next to nothing in Brasilian touristic projects. Brasilian authorities have recently made of tourism one of their top-ten priorities by launching the second phase of the "Aquarela Plan" (O Plano Aquarela, a marketing plan to increase the flow of tourists to Brasil), which began in 2005, the goal being to double inbound tourism before 2015 and to place Brasil, now 35th, in the top-twenty world's top tourism destinations. An ambitious plan but without a doubt doable. FYI, according to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), about 6.5 million tourists have visited Brasil in 2007, which is an average of 18 000 arrivals per day, a number that given the fantastic touristic potential and the Aquarela Plan should logically grow in the post-crisis years. A huge source of income.

Anyhow it's not abberant to state that 90% of those 13 millions tourists expected each year will visit Copacabana, which is THE vitrine of Brasil (and no one in his right mind can really think that brasilian authorities want to see hoes, trannies, woremongers, faveladas, pimps, thieves, mobsters and other drug dealers spoil this vitrine BTW, so expect a deep cleaning of the whole area).

Now how many of them will visit the museum ? I'd bet on 10/15 %. Plus the national tourists (some 2.5 millions to Rio each year). Plus the Carioca locals (school visits, ect). Plus the Fluminenses wekenders. That makes a lot of people. And at something like 20 RS the entrance ticket, a lot of money.

If you see my corresponding posts I refer to the newbies I took as gringos, period. That was the problem, they acted like disrespectful gringos! I did mention their race as a description, at first, so they and others would know who I am talking about, without mentioning names.

They were disrespectful and I used that post primarily as a means to inform them. Notice, I ended with "yeah, it's me."

No I am not writing off a race, but if I had not added American blacks, I doubt they would have known it was them because they obviously had no clue what they did was not 100% kosher. Most gringos in Rio are not black, so to just mention disrespectful gringo behavior might not have done the trick. I COULD have mentioned some other things they did to make sure they knew it was them, but then, trust me, it would have really looked bad. So instead I mentioned the central issue and labeled them black AMERICANS (which sizes the number down considerably). After that post I referred to them as GRINGOS, which you obviously missed!
Also, I never said I would have nothing to do with black Americans.

P.S. Since you are so politically correct, I think we need to discuss your handle, "Iceberg Slim." You see Iceberg Slim is a well known convicted felon who abused women. Slim wrote a book detaling how he beat women ruthlessly, using such intstruments as wire coat hangers! So perhaps you need to critique what your handle says rather try to find racism where there is none!

Just in case you did not notice, I used American blacks and gringos interchangeably. So your post is a bit off base, though well-intentioned. You critique one of my posts with a fine-tooth comb then ignore the very next one where I call them gringos. If you had noticed this, then you would have seen your post was irrelevant.

Actuallly, it is gramatically correct to mantain the same subject. That is the only reason why I, late in the post,referred to "one other blacks," or whatever and not "the guys." Plus, "the guys" makes them sound like buddies!

Thanks for your response but it seems you are being critical for no reason. You yourself miss my use of American black and gringo interchangeably, yet get picky over smaller issues.

Most regulars on here know that I am racially sensitive. Again, I mentioned their race initially to ensure they knew who they were.

And, by the way, YOU start bringing up WHITE PEOPLE, not me. Whether you know it or not YOU need to take that out of your post because that is racially insensitive. I mentioned blacks for a reason. But you bring up WHITES when nobody said anything about them. Obviously YOU have some racial baggage and trust me, it is silly to try to apply it to me.

After I got back from centro last night, I hit the retail place where I got the number of a very cute girl who has done quite a bit of American porn.

Then I sat down, typed a trip report here and received a call from the private in-call (R50 all night) I had two days ago. She wanted to come over and spend the night.

I said yes, then jumped in the shower. Suddenly she was at the door. I mean she must have been right outside. I was stilll in the shower, had the ISG forum still up on the computer, and the other girl's number right on the table.


I cleared all of this up and let her in. But with all of this rushing and the stress caused by the GRINGOS I took to centro earlier, I got sick.
She came in and began cooking food ,which made things worse.
My head and stomach hurt. Here I was with an all nighter for R50 and all I could do was throw up, which I did. Man I got sick all over the place.

She was nice and brought me pillows and water and offered to buy me some green tea. I just told her to leave and come back tomorrow.

I feel better today and will hit centro early, come back to put my bid in with the cute porno girl, and then drinks at Mabs.

News of Help's imminent closure has gone down badly among the estimated 2,000 freelance prostitutes who use the club for business, often to support their families. "We only use the club to meet clients. This is not a crime. All we do here is dance and have fun," Patricia Alcantara, 30, told the Rio newspaper O Dia. "With the closure of Help we will have to go on to the streets."
