i'm behind 4 reports, here's one! march 25th went out bar hopping with ken, strictly striptease bars in el centro, parque berrios and maracaibo area! stopped at conejitas, which was ok for a wednesday then maracaibo, barra ejecutivo y bar las americas!

If it is that they are charging 13000 to san diego it makes better financial sense to take it to el centro (8000), and then use other form of transportation to poblado, is that your final destination. your choices could include the bus (1300 / total 9300), el metro (1700 / total 9700), or taxi (7000 tops / total 15000 max) vs 13000 +5000 for a total of 18000. It is true that for some the difference is minimal, but in a tight budget it always help to save a dollar here and there in transportation in order to use for other things especially if its a long stay.

Secondly, if you don't speak spanish well, I would suggest trying a different venue. Colombia, Brazil etc are not places for newbies or inexperienced travelers/mongers that don't have at least a moderately fluent command of the language.

Get your feet wet by trying Costa Rica first. It has much to offer a newbie.

Lots of like minded gringo's there to hold your hand and show you the ropes.

A large variety of women from all over Central America and certain parts of South America. Much easier for a newbie to navigate. Getting laid is virtually point and click because of the variety of venues. About danger, you just need to look over your shoulder at all time and avoid going to places you shouldn’t go. Cali for example, I will not go to el centro after sunset. In Medellin, I will avoid Mayorista. Colombia is a good place for economical "adult entertainment".

I have a question for you? What color is your money. You can find any color of woman you like in Colombia. The color of the skin has nothing to do with performance. If you are worried about your safety in Colombia I suggest you stay home or continue to read the post here regarding security. As far as having double play it will depend on what you want to spend. Colombian women are not like the Brasileras when it comes to having orgies. Very few of the women are into that but if you are willing to pay they will accomodate you but don't expect anything as near as to what the brazilian women would do. Start with Medellin and I suggest you stay at the Mansion until you get a feel of city before you step out on your own. Greg could hold your hand and give you some pointers.

JI[/QUOTE]I think the most important point is that you do not speak Spanish. So not to get stuck, it is better to go either to Cartagena or Medellin Mansion. In these cases you won't have problems with language, orgies, etc.. just multiply chica price by # of chicas and can bargain.

Otherwise unless you arrange a guide/translator it's gonna be really hard without Spanish. You will be forced to learn some language, since most local people would know only few English words.

In Cartagena it's better to rent an apartment, hotels may charge you about 50K for each chica to enter your room. Also in Cartagena chicas ask for 200K for an hour, but you can bargain.

You can get bang for a buck in casas. Where you'd pay about $30-$40/hour, so you can get several chicas at the same time if you like, but the quality might not be too high sometimes.

I was told now more and more Chinese people are moving to Medellin, also saw them getting cedulas in DAS. So I guess you can be taken for a "local" too:)

If you really want safety and no problems with anything at all, especially for short trips, you can think of Curacao first, where in Campo Alegre can be many Colombian girls and bang for a back. Sometimes there really hot girls can be found.

Idwib. The advice to visit Costa Rica or the DR is well taken. Not knowing spanish will be a major hurdle in Medellin, especially if you fly solo. Cartagena would be better because of the logistics. You can rent in Laguito and walk around but still English is rare outside the airport or the Hilton. How will you communicate, order lunch, negotiate with chicas? . It will be a big problem and the quality of your trip will suffer. I have seen guys who can't speak spanish and they are lost.
