New Member Visiting Lima - Part 1
Hello, Everybody, Thanks for all the helpful information you've put together on this site. I'm sure it will make my upcoming trip to Lima much more enjoyable and interesting.
I would like to share some generalities about my trip plans with you for context and see if you would like to possibly share any advice for issues
I haven't found yet in the forum. Or please point me to an applicable forum post if you prefer. I have done as much reading of this forum as I could but my reading time has been limited (e. G., busy at work) since I realized I would be going to Peru. But if you feel it is more appropriate to just tell me to go back and read the entire **** forum first, I'll understand.
GENERAL PLAN
I will be arriving in Lima in about a week and staying in Peru for about 3 weeks. In addition to the types of activities featured on this board, I would like to do at least a little bit of sightseeing/traveling and find some opportunities to interact with regular locals on a social basis so that I don't get too bored in between relatively brief encounters with P4P girls. I have to watch my budget so I'm not going to be able to afford a stream of short time P4P girls all day. I imagine that it could get pretty boring spending 3 weeks alone if I don't do something proactive to find a good way to interact with people more. If any of you have any advanced tips on how to expeditiously make some acquaintences with interesting Peruanas so I can enjoy more of my time during the 3 weeks, please let me know. But please try to be very specific with your ideas and suggestions if you can. In my USA life, I don't ever hang out at bars, drink or dance so I don't have the skills, experience or practiced boldness with women that some of you might have.
A DASH OF TOURISM. MAYBE WITH A SPECIAL GUIDE?
My initial thought is to spend most of my time in Lima (following guidandce in this forum) but, to do some research and planning during my first week regarding the possibility of doing some interesting day trips or maybe even an overnight trip outside of Lima during my second and/or 3rd week. I understand that at least January and February are considered bad weather months for the mountains and lowland jungles and that there has been serious fllooding in some of the most popular tourist areas of Peru. However, I am assuming that I can find some interesting coastal destinations or might possibly have more flexibility on destinations if mid March weather conditions are better. I am hoping you guys will have some suggestions for me. On the other hand, if I do figure out a way to meet some interesting normal girls, I would think that asking them what I should do and where I should go around Lima or the rest of Peru would be a good conversation starter. And depending on how things go from there, maybe I could convince them to come along as my guide. Well that's my fantasy at the moment anyway.

LODGING
Now I have a few more items I'd appreciate any comments on. I would like to keep lodging down to around $50 a night or less. My understanding is that at least some of you have, in general, have recommended staying in a rental apartment instead of a hotel. I assume this is primarily to avoid inconveniences regarding bringing over a guest. Is there a slam dunk consensus that one should stay in an apartment if he has 3 weeks in Lima, even if I might spend a few nights out of town? Are there any obvious disadvantages of staying in a Lima apartment? The only thing I can think of is, in the past, when I've gotten really bored or needed some directions, advice, etc., I could always talk to the doorman, bellhop, receptionist, etc., at the hotel. I might miss that and feel isolated at an apartment. So far, I have found some links to apartment listings from this forum and am looking over the apartment listings. But I am a little bit nervous about locking in for 3 weeks an an apartment that I've never seen. Oh, there's more, I just opened the "classified ads" link this second; I hadn't looked there before so I didn't realize it also included links to apartments. I'd better look through there also but it's getting pretty late since I'm leaving so soon.
Based on what I've read, I should probably try to stay in Miraflores. But I'm not sure whether the Parque Kennedy area or the Larco Mar area would be best? I wonder if tourist traffic and room reservations are still down and a bargain price on rentals could be had? I hope that I could bargain a rate better than the flat weekly rate if I'm staying 3 weeks. I'm arriving in Lima really late so I don't think driving around looking for a bargain at 1AM would be a good plan.

ESCORTS
I found a set of about 8 links to escort web sites in the Lima Lists thread. But I can't tell from that what kind of experience any of you had with girls from those web sites. Could someone please tell me if there is a discussion somewhere on the forum that highlights a few of the best Lima escort web sites that gave you a good value for decent quality girls. I don't mean the most expensive. But best value? And it would be interesting to know if you negotiated any longer term stays with them?
EXTENDED STAYS
If I start getting bored, or tired of long taxi rides to semi-dangerous locales, it would be nice to have a plan to arrange for some longer term company beyond one-hour visits. I seem to remember reading in the forum that you can sometimes convince a P4P girl, e. G., from an escort listing, to do a TLN for a reasonalbe price. But it sounded kind of hit and miss. Is there a more direct way to find relatively good qualilty girls that will be pretty likely to agree to spend the day, the night or possibly both for a reasonable price and have a good attitude about it. As opposed to charging a super premium for what they consider an unusual service? I just don't have the funds to pay the really high rates.
DAVID33
From reading this forum, it is clear that David33 has been very helpful to many members. I hope to contact him and would consider myself very fortunate if he is as helpful to me as he has been to other members that have posted on this forum. The only reason that I have not contacted you yet David33 is that I cannot PM yet. I was hopoing to have the opportunity to ask for your input on a couple of apartment locations as per your offer in one of our posts. Before it got this close to my departure date. I sent my $ to the forum in by US mail. I think it was about 10 days ago. And I have been able to access photos but when I try to PM, I am forwarded to the web page that says I need to pay for a subscription to be able to PM. Earlier today, I replied to an initial welcome (for registering) message from Jackson and told him I was confused about whether or not he received my money and whether or not I am a full member yet. Because I couldn't send a PM yet. I will try to PM you as soon as I get PM capability.
