From Dynasty or Whitehouse walk down Soi 13 towards Beach Road. On the left side of the street you will see Sportsmans Pub. At that pub you will see an entrance leading inside the building housing the pub. It is near the Das Berliner sign. Walk inside and there is a laundry behind Sportsman. They are slighter cheaper than the one across from Dynasty Inn but the price difference is small. They are both good choices for inexpensive laundry services.

Didn't go to my usual watering hole this evening. Instead I parked at Soi 13/4 or so and walk up the Beach Road. Came across a cute young thing and stopped and said Hello,. Not the warmest reception. Talked for a few minutes and it was obvious this girl was all about the money. Priced her all the same. 1000 baht short time. I had zero vibe with this girl so I walked. She never did crack a smile. My experience is, if you don't feel it in the first few minutes, you probably won't (no matter how long / hard you try or how much money you dump). Kept walking and it wasn't long before I hit another cutie. Stopped, said Hello, chit chat, kind of a repeat from earlier. 1000 baht short time quote and no vibe. Kept on walking. Cutie with a big smile caught my eye. Stopped, talked for a few minutes. This one at least showed some interest. Big smile, got her laughing, quoted her and she said 1000 baht short time. Asked for discount, she said no. Asked for Pattaya discount and she said no. Asked for old man discount, she said she can not discount. Ok, thank you, and I walk.

Two minutes later I see and ear to ear smile locked onto me. I stop and say Hello,. This one is mid 30's, but typical Asian fashion, she aged well. She was very receptive, playful and happy. Asked how much and she said 1000 baht short time. I asked for discount and she said ok, 800 baht. Works for me. We talk more and I cover the job description. She agrees and off we go. Get to the room, photo shoot, shower. I actually followed her into the shower and she grabbed the shower head and started to wash me. This is the second time on this trip a girl washed me, and I kind of like it. Hop in the sack and have a great time. After, clean up, pay bills, drop her at the beach and grab a sandwich. Hung out on Beach Road for a few minutes and all the girls cross over to the shop side. OH oh, you know what that means, you guessed it, the police are driving the girls off of the Beach Walk again. Headed back to the hotel to rest for a few before heading out again later tonight.

In the Philippines it's usually a smooth ride, with almost all laundry shops charging by the kilo, but in Pattaya I found that most if not all shops do the by piece thing, and at high rates. I don't see why laundry services should cost that much more to provide in TH (I assume energy, water and detergents are tad cheaper in TH and Thai lavanderas slightly more expensive than pinays, just like in the full service sector).

Thanks for sharing your experience here. Sounds like you had some good fun, but have you tried any of the BJ bars or Soi 6?

I find it a much better value and the girls are very pretty and friendly. Just a thought.

After breakfast decided to see what kinds of tours I should sign up for in the following days. I stopped by Julie cruise director her at the hotel (am I showing my age? After speaking with the tour lady there were about four things that looked good to me first off was a tour of the Sanctuary of Truth the second reason I came the Pattaya beside the ladies, tiger zoo a chance to pet a baby and full grown tiger, parasailing and zip lining. I signed up for the Sanctuary of Truth for later today at 3:00 pm and the tiger zoo for tomorrow at 3:30 pm.

So I just hung around the hotel pool area my laptop. Walk to Mike's Mall for some gift for the folks back home. Saw some interesting sights while there seeing old guys trying on shirt and pants in the middle of the mall not in the shops off the main concourse but in the middle of the concourse seeing a guy in his tight-whites is something you don't see that back in the States!

Came back to the hotel to get ready for the excursion to the Sanctuary of Truth, met my drive in front of the hotel. He was a nice guy drove me there got me all checked in. Walked down the wooden stairs, one the attendants said the show has already started. There was some ladies doing traditional Thai dancing followed by some Thai martial arts with weapons it was pretty entertaining. After the show I walked around and inside the Sanctuary, which was truly beautiful.

On the way back to the hotel I ask the driver to stop at Soi 1 so I could pick up my laundry he said no problem but the Music festival had started and Beach road was blocked off to traffic so I would have to walk the final distance to the Soi. I ended running / walking to pick up my laundry and I got a blister on my big toe from running in flip-flops!

Jumped into the shower after my little run before heading off to Devil's Den for a little two-girl action. Check the location on the laptop and draw a map and wrote down the address this time making sure I didn't get lost. It was a short walk from the hotel, walked in and was greeted by Papa-son Dave. He ask if I know that they do there and I said "yes, I was just on the website"! He explained the rule of the line-up before inviting the ladies in for my review. There were a fair amount of ladies to choose from, the ones on the right side didn't interest me, though I was hoping for some A plus service. I choose two from the left side, first was Jen a short small chested dark skin lady and Gwen a fairly tall, light skin lady. I was hoping they would work well together. Most of the reports I had read about this place mostly say make your first pick and let that lady pick someone she works well with. But in the moment I forgot this. I paid 4,000 bth total for the two ladies and we walked up stairs. Jen strip down first and got into the shower first and I followed her while Gwen got things ready. Jen showered me down and cleaned me up, I walked out and Gwen handed me a towel while she went into the shower. Jen and I started off with a HJ and CBJ, while she was doing that Gwen started a porn that was on a short loop on the TV. I liked Jen she was doing all the right moves for me. Jen and Gwen switched potions and Jen started kissing my chest and me. Gwen hopped on for some CG and we went through a few positions before changing condom and ladies. I went back through the same positions this time with Jen and popping with her, we played around for the full 90 minutes. The three of us showered off got dressed and I tip the ladies 200 bth each for a good job in my eyes, we walked back down stairs were Dave greeted me again and asked if I had a great time. This will be my first time visit to Pattaya.

Is there still any action worth to consider at that time, or shall I better go to bed and save my energy for the next day?

If you're tired, you may well sleep, but if you're not, you'll sure find someone for a late short time.

Laundries between Beach Road and Second Road are usually more expensive I think.

Went to Walking Street at 1 am. Walked up and down, stopping at 7/11 for a beer. About 2:30 I stopped and watched six girls out in front of The Marine Disco. One of them was getting a lot of attention. The first guy that talked to her asked for a price because I seen her gesture 1500 baht with her hands. The guy took off shortly after. The next guy, minutes later, priced her too. I saw her hand gestures again. Same same, 1500 baht. He looked like he was bartering with her, but she wasn't having it. He walked. The other girls split. Another minute goes by and another man walks up to her. Again, I see the hand gestures, 1500 baht. The guy hangs around and I see 2500 baht. He takes off too. I finished my beer and walked over to her and say Hello, and ask her name (in Thai). I get her to smile and giggle. So I priced her (in Thai), she asked short time or long time? I said short time. She said 1000 baht. Wow, knowing a handful of Thai phrases pays off. I told her I was watching her from across the street and that I saw her gesturing with her hands the prices. She told me she quoted 1500 baht short time and 2500 baht long time. I asked for a discount (in Thai). She laughed and said no. I asked for old man discount (in Thai), she laughed and said how much of a discount? I said 800 baht (in Thai). She laughed and said 900 baht short time. I wasn't even really interested in her, I just wanted to hear her story. I said thank you, nice to meet you (in Thai) and walked away. She smiled and said good bye.

Went over to Walking Street Disco (typical no cover). Now I remember why I like this place, very clean, music other then techno and no smoking. I stay for a beer and just like my last visit here the majority of the girls leave about the same time. It was almost 3 am. I think they must close around that time. So I head over to the Marine Disco and there are a few people there. I have a beer and walk around. Wasn't long before a woman comes up and is all over me. She wasn't doing it for me so I said no thank you. Walked around a little more and ran into a girl I had a couple of weeks earlier. Stopped and said Hi. Her and her friend were actually leaving. So I walked around a little more and ran into two girls at a table. Big smiles and dancing about. I struck up a conversation with the first one and things were going well. Shortly after meeting them, the first one takes off to the restroom. So I talk with her girlfriend. A guy shows up at the table and asks where the first girl is. The girlfriend said in the toilet. So when the first girl comes back, she starts talking with that guy. Both girls were cute and it seemed to me like the first one was handing me off to her girlfriend any way. So I went with the Switch-a-roo.

We dance and dance and dance. I look over and there is that first woman I said no thank you to standing right next to me on the dance floor (stalker alert). I told my girl lets have a seat. I priced her and see said 1000 baht. I asked for discount, she laughed and said no. I said yes, welcome to Pattaya. She said how much. I told her, Pattaya discount and old man discout, 700 baht. Yep, that lit the fire under her butt. And yes, I was joking with her the whole time. I said lets go and off we went. Get to the room and had a spectacular time. I don't usually let the girls stay over, but it was late and we were both tired. About noon she gets up and showers. I told her ok, 700 baht. She pipes up. I gave her 1000 baht and she said thank you, I go now. I offered her a ride, but she refused and said she will walk. Welcome to Pattaya!

Hello all,

I plan on taking my first trip to Thailand for 10 days at the end of April. There is a lot of content to take in on this site, which I am slowly doing. Thanks to the regular contributors. I have a few questions about my upcoming trip and would be very appreciative with any help you guys could provide. I'm a 25 year old engineer from the USA.

1) After / excluding the cost of travel to and from the country, can I have a good 10 day vacation for roughly 3,500 USD?

2) I'm going as a bachelor. Should I plan on paying for a new companion every night? Should I find a stunner early on and try to hang on to her as a tour guide?

3) What type of places should I look into staying? I plan on splitting time between Pattaya and Bangkok but maybe visiting the northern parts if feeling adventurous.

4) Do hotels mind me bringing girls back to them?

Any advice you gentleman give this fellow looking to have a great time is appreciated. I have been traveling pretty much non stop for work for the last 22 weeks and am in desperate need of good R&R. Really looking to make this the vacation of a lifetime.
