Its been over two decades ago but I met a Brazilian immigrant via his wife, who was taking a continuing ed class with me at a local junior college. He had immigrated in the 80's to attend some private evangelical college in Podunkville, Texas, but eventually settled in Dallas. He explained when he first left for college, how his parents supplied him with a lot of cash in dollars, which his mama sewed inside the pants he wore on the flight to the US. When he arrived, he was interviewed by INS at the airport, though he had a legitimate student visa. They wanted to see if he had adequate funds (I have no idea what would have been required of him) and he told them that they were sewn inside his pants. The cash had been sewn up tight within the pocket his mom had sewn inside a pants leg. He was taken to a private room where he took off his pants, and with a pair of scissors he'd borrowed from the staff, he removed the cash while standing in his underwear. He said the INS guys who were watching him closely were totally amazed and amused by the whole thing. After counting the cash out they let let him enter the country.

Speaking of which, I do recall that customs entering Brazil used to have a reputation for going through your bags when going in and out of the country. My Brazilian acquaintance told me they were even more vigilant that the US customs when he was returning home and leaving, going through his entire luggage thoroughly. Of course, as a native Brazilian he might have gotten different treatment than a tourist. Is that still the case when entering and leaving Brazil?

There was a period of 6-8 years where they were scanning luggage on arrival, mainly looking for people smuggling in electronics (especially cellphones) beyond the amount allotted by customs. But for the past 5 years or so I have not been scanned. Now they seem to be focused on Brazilians returning with huge amounts of luggage. With their economy in the toilet, they seem to have many fewer federal police and customs officials working at the airport.

Raul Pompeia, 120 (towards Ipanema) in 2017, but by all accounts it was pretty pathetic, and now their website is gone. I know there's a dance club on Rio Branco where a few putas hang out, but I'd be surprised to learn that it's going by Help. If you have more info, please share.

I have been here in Rio for my first trip to Latin America and just spent the weekend with a very sweet girl I met on Tinder and I have been chatting to Brasilian girls for a few months before this trip that I mainly met online in Tinder, these are regular girls in their twenties and thirties who speak an acceptable level of English, some of whom have travelled abroad to learn English. Sadly however this is an extremely dangerous city and within two days of arriving have witnessed more dangerous scenes than in all the months I ever spent in Asia. I got caught up in an Arrastao on Copacabana yesterday and was very lucky to come out of it unscathed, by running across the street to safety. It is like something out of the Walking Dead; and I am an experienced traveler.

I came here as a PUA like I do in Asia I manage to seduce girls (I'm early 30's) and general BS, here in Rio it is more difficult but still achievable. Flakiness is a problem, time keeping scant but when you succeed it is worth it. Variety is the spice of life but what if you have sampled, on multiple occasions, every race, hue, height, girth or look that there is to partake? For decades my p4p experience has been brothels, street walkers, clubs, casas, saunas, mps, escorts, walk-ups, FKKs, etc. In order to spice things up a bit I have recently resorted to social media and have been in touch with girls mainly through facebook but also via dating sites. I've felt like this sometimes too. Usually at the end of a long trip, I usually don't even want to look at a woman. Takes a while for the pressure to rebuild. And the lake longer to refill as I get older but it always DOES refill.

Used to happen on Nossa Senhora on a Sunday but increased police presence has slowed it down-for now. Mind you the police can be a real pain too in Rio! I have been stopped 5 times at least and ordered out the car on 3 occasions and once got made an ultimatum of either goin to police station to work sth out or go into Mosaico lool. We got stopped near VM. The dirty cop had a deal with Mosaico and he followed us in there and collected money from cashier and went back to his spot down the road! Couple of other instances that were not so cool with police as well-dickheads in general down there especially out of zona sul but I have been stopped and searched twice in Copa and in Ipanema in yellow cabs LOL fuckers.

No, that's not happened to me, and I've been at it for 3 decades. Part of the reason it doesn't get boring is that the women are so different. I have my regular spots (Rio, BKK, Medellin, AC) but have been to dozens of other places. I find the variety stimulating.

We all have our methods for trying to get the best out of a girl. I think if you can get beyond being just another ATM for a girl, the sex with her will stay interesting. I have my best success in Rio because I'm fluent in Portuguese. Being able to crack jokes with and compliment the girls, and even talk with them about local politics and such, makes a huge difference in my experience. The less I seem like and act like a standard-issue sex tourist, the better the response from the girls. I'm less successful in some places where the communication is basically hand signals and fistfuls of cash.

If you get bored with banging Brasileiras, try hooking up with some American girls. That'll have you booking your next trip in no time.
