Rio de Janeiro Reports

I was in Brazil the last five weeks for my annual work stint and in and out of Rio on three separate occasions, each for about 2 days. I made the most of my time and managed to squeeze in 10 excellent sessions. I had two Sunday nights free, and with limited options went on one of those nights with a website girl, Chanel from Riosexsite. Beautiful girl and very good service in her pretty decent Copa apartment. The other Sunday I hooked up with Cristina, a girl I'the met at Monte Carlo last year. She was as cute, fun, and sweet as I remembered.

The other six girls were all at prives – Emporio do Banho, Onix, Bel Prazer, and Copa 583 - and all recommended on the local forums. I mostly used forumx, and, as has been my experience in the past, their reviews were spot on. All of the girls were beautiful and provided excellent GFE service. The line-up at Emporio do Banho on several visits was particularly impressive, the best I saw of the four prives. I repeated with two girls there. It was my first visit to Copa 583 and their facilities were atypically new and very nice if that's important to you.

In response to recent posts, though anything can happen anywhere, I was fortunate to find Rio to be as fun and mellow as ever with only nice people and good experiences everywhere I went. But of course situational awareness and common travel sense are good tools to have at hand.

As for getting burnt out on the scene, if I was going to Latin America or anyplace else just for mongering, I know I'the get bored very quickly and would probably abandon the hobby, in part because I'm just too old for that. My fortunate cure is that I'm lucky enough to be there for work so having great sex with some pros (my definite preference, too) on my few days off when I really need to blow off some steam, is still amazingly fun.

I was in Cancun today and discovered that they have a new thing now and that is a lottery. You will participate in the lottery with the number of your locker and the prize is a free 40 minute session. As far as I understand you can not get the prize for a session that you had before the draw in the lottery, but if you are in the middle of a session when the winner is announced you will get it for free. Or if you are doing an hour session you will pay the difference from the 40 minutes up to the price for the one hour session.

The draw for the lottery is eight o'clock and I was in a room with a girl at that time but of course I didn't win. I don't know if this has been mentioned earlier in a post here but I'd thought I might share the information because it is good to know about it. The lottery is everyday and the winner will have to use the prize for a 40 minute session the same day and it can not be saved for another day.

Some came later trying to pass his stuff off as their own, but we all knew who the original master guide writer for Brazil was!

I still get email from guys with copies of the guide, which amazes me, since the last edition was in 2009.

You were one of the first on-line English speakers to report comprehensive details on Florianopolis. So many faces and names have come and gone, Don, his sister Rhonda and Kenn the apartment booker. Many local hustlers trying to make a buck as drivers, guides, local investment advisors, etc. I remember a well-known Rio guy named Jace. Jace looked so sad at TA when I described hooking up with his favorite 4 x4 girl. He was an interesting guy. Total accident, of course, that I met this redhead "his girl". I lost track of her when she went off to Europe.

I just thought of having morning sex in those rooms facing out at the ocean at the old Arpoador Inn. Girlfriend friendly hotel with the closest rooms to the water.

Back in about 2007 I was poking around on Amazon and found that some guy was publishing and selling my guide online through Amazon! Since Amazon lists the seller info, I contacted him (I'm a lawyer) and told him I'd be initiating a suit. Dude quickly agreed to pull it from Amazon. Amazon provided information on how many copies had been sold, and I collected all the proceeds from the guy in exchange for not taking him to court for damages.

The guide was always free, and I was pissed that someone tried to cash in on it.

I was living down in Porto Alegre for awhile, so Florida was a short hop away and I got over there often. It's a lovely place, and I still get there every other year to relax.

I'm still in touch with a lot of the old Rio guys, like Don, Ken, Kenn, Rhonda, and many others. Poor Jace developed severe back problems and had to hang up his mongering shoes.

I stayed at the Arpoador Inn for many years, always in the oceanfront rooms, finally switching to apartments because of the flexibility they offer. Next time I was in town the building had been gutted. It's still under construction, but looks like a condo is going in there. Sigh.

We had bonded in Rio many years ago through Don. Hit places together, shared Vitamin V and generally chilled quite a bit.

Let me ask a question to the more experience members of this forum. Aren't girls offering P4 P services available in places that are not sexually oriented businesses or oriented towards tourists? Is it possible to regularly find casual prostitutes and the odd WG in different clubs and social gatherings where people are necessarily going to pay or receive money for sex? One thing I happened across in the Dominican Republic was prostitutes hanging around the colmados. Maybe not full time prostitutes but maybe girls looking for some extra cash. Then again, every girl I paid for sex in the DR claimed that she was not a prostitute, and typically claimed she was only looking for a boyfriend. Obviously this is not to found everywhere in the world. Its been stressed on the Colombia forum that there isn't a gray area with the Colombianas. They are either WG or they are not (selling their bodies). But, I think you see what I am getting at.

20 years ago I would still have had enough game to pull local girls with legitimate romantic intentions. I'm long past that now and frankly don't want that either. But, I am wondering how common is it to encounter P4P girls at bars and other places. I suspect its easier than one thinks, and probably could make the mongering experience a lot easier instead of fantasizing about resurrecting some old pick up joint for hookers. Hey, if you want to shoot fish in a barrel, then go to Sosua or Pattaya. Some of us like to hunt (or fish if you like) once in a while.

[/QUOTE]In my experience Most people do not have self confidence. Almost any girl can be had. Some of them claim they want boyfriend because they do not want that stigma of being labeled a prostitute. Just like some guys refuse to pay for sex, because they feel it hurts there ego.

Some people care too much about what other people think about them.

As many of us know, Help Disco wasn't opened as a mongering destination, but rather as a regular, civilian nightclub. Very likely, a few hot girls went to Help in the 80's hearing there would be relatively affluent gringos present. They hooked-up and word spread to other girls and other gringoes. You didn't even have the internet spread the word. It's amazing how something like Help could develop before the internet. The internet finally drove Help's last and peak years. Gringoes from all over the world came to meet young Brasileiras from all over Brasil at Help.

So I agree, word would spread fast. We know what's in it for the monger. For the young girls, they can drink, dance and if they choose, go home with a guy of their choosing.
