Thank you for giving your opinion. But for one, my non-stop r / t flight to BKK only cost EUR 510 this year, not 1,000. And I prefer Pattaya weather 364 day a year over Amsterdam. Financially, I could afford to go AMS twice a month, having prostitutes of various nationalities, spiffs and everything, yet I'm not going and I don't want to.
The reason is that I have more fun in Thailand, even when I don't have any sex. I just like it better than Europe for an holiday. Personally I think "it's better", but that of course depends on tastes.

The only advantage I can think of is if you enjoy your drink and like to go on bar crawls. You can sit in different bars with lots of half-naked women who are willing to talk to you for a few minutes for the price of a few expensive drinks. But you can do that anyway in lap dancing clubs in the West but without the jet lag.

I think everyone is different and you are entitled to your opinion. But the one thing I do not see from your posting is what are you getting and what are you actually paying where you live? My City is not on the list presented by Mr. E, but what I do know I came from a City in California which might have started it all. My home was right in the center of it all, when growing up the Barbary Coast, the Gipsy Rose Lee strip shows was my playground. This was my 3rd trip to Pattaya since 2011. This trip I had the worst luck with the bar girls and due to some other issues I did not enjoy the place so much anymore. I am not too keen to revisit anytime soon. Even though the quality of agogo bars and bar girls is better in Pattaya compared to Bangkok I enjoyed BKK more. Just my experience this trip.
