Turgid,
Regarding Bolsonaro, I'm a newbie to Brazil, planning my first visit in a few weeks. But my understanding is that sex for money is much more accepted in the culture than in the US. Be pretty hard to eradicate it at this point.
As for Bolsonaro, he is a right winger, The Elites in Brazil want him to win. So if he wins the election look for the Brazil Real to get stronger as he will cut a lot of Brazil government programs (Pension and Social Security). Which will satisfy foreign investors and wall street.
Now if the PT party which is Lula (Left Wingers) wins, look for the Brazil real to be weaker (4 to 1, or even 5 to 1). They will push more government spending, (Social Security, Social Programs, Road and Highway Infrastructure Projects) Which Wall Street and a lot of foreign investors do not like.
So if Bolsonaro wins Brazilian mongering will be a little bit more expensive as the Brazil Real rise to the dollar.
I've been watching the 2nd season going on now the Duece, it's pretty good. I grew up in NYC and as a teen during the 70's I would go to 42nd street or 49th st and 8th ave and they were all over the place. Got to know a few of them but they were high turnover, had my first sex there a nice black girl in the hotel room, when I was about to mount her I guess she could see I was having difficulty figuring it out and she said to me: This your first time honey? I was so embarrassed but I said no.
There was also a very dark and violent side to what was going on in NYC then. Somebody who I went to school with, a really, really hot white chick, lost her way and ended up on the streets of New York hooking. She was the type that you couldn't believe was engaging in prostitution. And especially on the seedy streets of NYC! She was murdered by the most prolific serial killer ever in the history of New York named Joel Rifkin. Those of you from New York, I'm sure you know the name. So it definitely was not all glamorous and fun, especially for the street tutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11yCFbICucc..

I saw too many young dudes O.D.ing on the streets. Blokes would openly offer to sell you coke, acid, speed. Many streets were very dangerous; on many occasions I turned and hightailed it upon seeing shady characters approaching me. My brother was hospitalized after a beating by some bouncers in a brothel. I must admit though the service by the dames was excellent which made facing the dangers worth the trouble. No women in the world can give head like a NYC hooker. Also I liked the humor from the ladies which you don't get today.
With respect to Brazil politics a weak Real will certainly be good for our hobby. However, economics is not my strong point but I hope that whoever wins it is accompanied by an improvement in the Brazilian economy for the sake of the well being of our hosts and hostesses.

Mark my words it will go more underground in Rio and SP you'll see. He could shut the termas, boates, VM etc to please the Bible Belt. Also in general it's going to get more violent against the victims of Brazilian society -the blacks the Indians the gays the poor- and even more civil unrest which will be met with brute force. If he starts implementing what he's threatening it might be the end of my Brazilian love affair. Abs.

Las Vegas Bookmakers are giving 10-1 odds it will be after Christmas before we see a current trip report about the subject of this thread- Rio de Janeiro Reports.

Back then commodities were hot and really helped the Brazilian economy. Lula did reap some of the policies implemented by FHC, so it's not as simple as PT wins, Real weakens. It's tough to predict what's going to happen as there are many variables to the equation.
I would like to ask the experienced member of this forum to do something that is sorely needed: give a thorough overview of the scene and the option in Brazil as it stand in this year of our Lord, 2018.
Why don't you ask a question? Is anyone prohibiting you from Expressing yourself Eszpresszo?
The Termas scene doesn't change that much day by day. We could use some up to date, on the ground intel on prives. Has anyone been to Vila Mimosa lately?

Can you guys tell someone who has never been south of the equator how and where to get started in Rio? Because I always do field reports on the destinations I visit, and I always try to provide info that is useful for the complete novice.

It's hilarious to read what you got to say considering that Ronaldinho, Lucas Moura and Felipe Melo are likely to vote for Jair Bolsonaro.
He can not win without the support of people of color.
Anyways, a crack down on prostitution shouldn't effect you too much since you have said that you are mostly doing non-pros.
When it comes to the crack down on prostitution in Brasil, it started way before Bolsonaro.
I have a fantasy I'd like to live out whilst I'm here in Rio, basically I want to be cuckolded by a hot blonde busty brazilian with a hot bunda and watch her and a well endowed black guy do it whilst I watch, I would like to watch and then maybe session with the girl afterwards, even hotter would be to find a hot kinky dominatrix to dominate me whilst I watch the interracial couple have sex. Any ideas on how to fulfill this hot fetish of mine would be welcome.
You could try the escort route for the cuckold fantasy. As to a Dominatrix, there where few back in the day, even fewer now, based on a quick google search. You might have better luck in Sao Paulo. They had BDSM clubs in SP, I'm not sure of how that scene is now.
If Bolsonaro wins which he likely will, he in an attempt to pander to his evangelical fan base.......................
Brazil is a primarily Roman Catholic country. Does he really have such a fan base? Is the best mongering in the world about to be f..ked up?
Brazil is a primarily Roman Catholic country. Does he really have such a fan base? Is the best mongering in the world about to be f..ked up?
No. Religious people in Brazil are way different than religious people in say a country like the United States. Brazilians have a liberal attitude towards sex. Sex is not seen as some kind of Sin. Which is why Brazilian women are so open and freaky when it comes to sex. I highly doubt they will closed termas like 4 x 4, Monte Carlo or termas centaurus. Most of there clients are upper class Brazilians and Business Elites and they support Bolsonario. So I don't think they would like that he shut down there after work social hangout spots. Feminism has not taken over Brazil just yet. It's still a macho society.
Have you and others watched The Deuce on HBO with James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal? It's all about the Hell's Kitchen / Times Square sex industry in that era. Season 1 was actually very good. I have yet to dive into Season 2.
I've heard stories of guys driving around picking up hookers for quick blow jobs just outside the Lincoln Tunnel.
I am really enjoying watching "The Deuce" on HBO, when I 1st heard they were going to film about the sex era I didn't believe they would catch it like it really was. BUT to my surprise they were spot on. I was station at Lakehurst, New Jersey in the United States Navy for school for 5-6 months I would jump on a Greyhound with 3-4 other Sailors and get off at the Bus Station in NYC with a pocket full of money after checking into our Hotel rooms and changing clothes taking showers we would hit (peep shows, Massage Parlors,) etc hell we heard about crime BUT with the 5 of us standing between 6'3-6'6 young and fit guys from LA, Chi-town, etc. And we were season salty sailors that been overseas a few times going into some hell holes so walking the streets of NYC was a cake walk. At night we would hit some Mom and Pop Pizza spots and hit Studio 54 & clubs at night. I LOVED those times.
