Many streets were very dangerous; on many occasions I turned and hightailed it upon seeing shady characters approaching me. My brother was hospitalized after a beating by some bouncers in a brothel. Mark my words it will go more underground in Rio and SP you'll see. He could shut the termas, boates, VM etc to please the Bible Belt. Back then commodities were hot and really helped the Brazilian economy. Lula did reap some of the policies implemented by FHC, so it's not as simple as PT wins, Real weakens. It's tough to predict what's going to happen as there are many variables to the equation.

Brazilians have a liberal attitude towards sex. Sex is not seen as some kind of Sin. Which is why Brazilian women are so open and freaky when it comes to sex.
