Romanza is a rip-off. Avoid at all costs
I'm not going to go into the full details of what happened to me because I'm so embarrassed by it, but I went to Romanza last night. I agreed to TLN with two girls for 800 reais. I figured it was a higher end place, so I was ok paying more. Later in the evening, a 3rd girl showed up and asked for more money saying that I had only agreed to party and not to sex with the original two. They kept feeding me drinks and cocaine all night to keep my from performing. I got minimal sex and maximum arguing. Worst experience I have ever had. Avoid at all costs.
Sampa Trip Report (Mid April)

Thanks for all the great info you all share here. I'd like to share my report.
I'm relatively new to the game and this was my first trip mongering abroad.
My situation was a little tricky and I was only able to get action during the morning and afternoon on weekdays. In addition, I was working remotely part time.
Day 1 Thursday
Arrived Thursday night late from Buenos Aires. My hotel was along the border between Pinheiros & Itaim Bibi.
Due to my situation, I was unable to get out and hit the ground running, but I was able to do some research here and on the local forums (For those who are Portuguese challenged, like me, Google Translate is your new best friend).
Day 2 Friday.
I spent my few hours Friday trying, and failing, to get a local SIM card to contact garotas. My mistake was not immediately going to TIM. Other carriers wanted me to have a Brazilian CPF (like a SSN in the US) , which you can get as a tourist but it takes some time. I read that you can also sometimes get locals to activate a phone on their number but I was unsuccessful in doing this. Friday was almost a complete bust. In the evening I found Juliana, a SMOKING girl on club model with great reviews on the local forum who had WhatsApp (a free instant messaging service that uses phone numbers as ids) and was able to send her a text (thanks again Google Translate) to set up a meeting for Monday afternoon. I was surprised how easy it was despite the language barrier.

Days 3-4 Sat & Sun.
My weekend was packed so I had almost no "productive" time as far as this forum is concerned. Did visit a cool Samba place "O Do Borogobo". Or something. Not a mongering location (that I could tell) but had fun, would go again.
Day 5 Monday.
As you can imagine, I am going crazy at this point. However there's some business to take care of first.
I went to a TIM store in a high-end mall (so many loaded Paulista lunching ladies there.) near my hotel and got a phone quite easily, they helped me activate it in store, no problem.
Arrive at the Ju's hotel / apartment building (its both I think?) in Moema via taxi. Needed to show I'd and sign in at the front desk. Was not expecting this but luckily, I had carried a copy of my passport & visa with me. A few minutes later I make it up to her room. She welcomes me in wearing some nice lingerie. Muito Bom! Just like the pictures, better even. Wow, she was too hot. She seems a little shy but not too much. I stumble through some Portuguese pleasantries, ask "voce fala ingles?", her response "nao". Too bad. I shower quickly and come out. We relax on the bed and start making out. Eventually she goes down for the BBBJ. A great sight, to see her beautiful face taking me in. Muito Bom! Day 6.
Nowhere near as good of an experience as the day before. She didn't tell me the location until 30 min before, and as it was during the lunch rush I was quite late. Very poor performance, not into it at all. I had asked for a 90 min appointment in the text but she seemed to think there are 90 minutes in an hour and cut the session early as she had another client. Very disappointing session.

Various tips:
- If you need a phone (and you probably do) go with TIM for the least hassle.
- Use google translate + SMS to contact the ladies. Perhaps even explain to them that you are doing this, so they know why you are writing awkwardly.
- Although everyone had warned me how dangerous Sao Paulo is, I didn't feel like I was in danger at any point. However, this may have been because most people just thought I was Brasileiro (until I opened my mouth)
- Get the location far in advance so you can figure out where you need to be and be there. Traffic can be a pain here.

Hotels near a Metro Station
It always a good idea to have an hotel near a metro station if you want to try outcall garotas.
Maybe I am the only gringo who prefers to stay in Moema. There is not yet a metro station (or metro stations I should rather say) in Moema. The future Linhas Lílas.
Will open several stations in Moema and Brooklin. The construction was interrupted several months in 2011. And there were even allegation of fraud causing the demise of the former director. Now, if eveyrthing runs smoothly, the new stations will open in 2015.
