I want your honest opinions. My long term Novia who is generally fantastic and I have no real issue with her posed a problem for me this last visit.

She is a normal girl from the country and stays with me when I'm in SD. Gives me all that I need and the only thing she complains about is me running around with others.

Here's the issue:

Her best friends father was in a serious accident (he's 70+ and got hit by one of those motorcycle taxis). He wound up in a Santo Domingo hospital in intensive care.

The first day I took her to the hospital and waited with her for hours, probably more than 6. We couldn't see the guy (only one family member allowed in the ER), so we waited with her friend. I went to the car a few times to catch some AC and a few zzz's.

When we returned to my apartment later that evening her friend went to her sisters house, but later around 10PM she got a call that the father took a turn for the worse and she wanted me to drive her GF to the hospital at that time. I reluctantly said yes, but a few minutes later I found I didn't have to go.

The next morning, the GF went to the hospital alone but forgot her cell phone, she called my novia from a payphone and asked we stop by her sisters house and bring the cell to the hospital, at this point my novia sensed I was upset and told me she would go via a gua gua. However, I could tell she was dissapointed I didn't volunteer to go with her.

Afterwards, I felt guilty. We both apologized, her for the imposition and me for not being by her side.

Should I have been with her?

Was it wrong for me to go with standby girl while Novia was in the hospital with her friend?

It is not your novia's father who was in the hospital, the father of the novia's best friend was in the hospital, some degree of separation there. Driving around Santo Domingo at 10pm, the traffic is not bad.

I once drove a GF to Plaza de Salud on Ortega y Gasset around 5pm, she had to visit a relative in the hospital there. I was not happy sitting in traffic. The round trip from Lincoln and the malecon to Plaza de Salud took about 2 hours at 5pm.

If a chica asks me to drive her somewhere around rush hour, I will usually say no, unless the place where she wants me to take her is close by.

It is not your fault she forgot her cell phone at home. (I would guess other family members at the hospital should have had cell phones, that she could borrow to make a few calls). And really, any person can live without a cell phone for a day, no need for you to play Mr. Delivery man, especially if it would require you to sit in traffic.

That does not include going to a hospital when every Tom, Dick, and Harry she knows is sick and shut in. That is not your responsibility. You went once to pay respects. You should not be expected to run to the hospital every time something changes with someone you don't even know.

Oh I eat her pussy as much as I can. It's the best I've ever had, smells and tastes great. The last time I was with her she left 2 pair of dirty panties in my bag by mistake, I had them with me for a while without washing them.

I had them so long that when I returned them she had asked why they weren't washed, I told her that washing the clothes was her job and besides I like the smell.

While stopped in traffic he insisted I had hit him and he needed to go to the hospital. A "buddy" of his nearby insisted he saw the accident and was going to call the police. I told them both to go fuck off and continued to drive. He threw a rock and chipped the windshield. I went down one of the tunnels on 27th and hauled ass to the airport. Thankfully those moto's don't have very much power.

If they would have gotten a police officer while they were near me I would have surely been screwed out of a lot of money.

That area under Avenida 27 de Febrero is a bit of a shit hole, near the bridge. When I drive to the airport, I take the Malecon to the pontoon bridge, then avenida espana to las americas highway. Not many motos on that route. Taking the local route under Avenida 27 de Febrero late at night from the bridge, it is not the most pleasant drive (I usually take Avenida Espana off of Las Americas to get into the city. One night Anthony Santos was at Le Base Bar and I figured the traffic would be slow on Avenida Espana so I took the Bosch Bridge and the local road under Ave. 27 de Febrero). The exit for Avenida Charles de Gaul, to go north on Charles de Gaul, is closed off of Las Americas Highway.

Some guys on motorcycles totally blow through red lights in sdq. When I get to some intersections, even when I have the green light, I slow down and look, to see if some guy on a motorcycle is ripping through his red light.

They are doing construction on Avenida Espana on the part closest to Las Americas Highway, I did see a few streetwalkers on Avenida Espana at night, on the part closest to Las Americas Highway.

Does anyone know what has happened with Delta flights into POP? When I went to Sosua in May there were daily flights but I am trying to schedule a trip in September and the only viable option is Santiago or SDQ.

American still has flights but since I originate out of Salt Lake UT, Delta is the best option.

Although I had a less than ideal experience with rental cars on my last trip it is beginning to look like SDQ is the best option.

I talked to Delta they will not fly into POP during hurricane season.

Delta is on a reduced schedule, flying in and out of POP twice weekly (Tue., Sat.)
