I never did expereince a sort of GF feeling with any girl in Addis. Most are very cold and in a hurry to get the job done.

That is right. I was referring to the hotels / Guest Houses. Ethiopian women are conservative when it comes to sex. I think this emanates from the historical and conservative religion of Ethiopia, Orthodox Christianity which is still practiced by the vast majority of Ethiopians, only rivaled by the equally and if not the more strict religion, Islam. And, In both religions being promiscuous and sexual is hugely frowned up on. Public display of affection is equally unacceptable. Although, things are getting better gradually as the society is increasingly being exposed to globalization. Getting GFE (Girl Friend Experience) from an Ethiopian sex worker is unlikely as they are usually feeling tremendous guilt while rendering "Sexual Services."

In response to your question, I have never banged a street walker. However, I heard that, for overnight stay, the price varies from 1000- 3000 ETB depending on the quality of the girl (applies for SW / Bar / Lounge). Typically, 1000-1500 ETB for SW.

Nevertheless, I know that there are some "high-end" escorts asking from 100 USD upwards for overnight sex. In the black market, 100 USD is worth almost 4000 ETB which is a lot of money.

ETB (Ethiopian Birr) is a "pegged" currency as opposed to a free-floating currency. Thus, if you go the bank, you would always get less than 28 ETB for a dollar. Better to exchange your money in the black market and then should do your mongering in local currency, I believe.

For short session, 500 - 1000 k ETB is the norm.

In the MPs, they would ask you a 500/600 Br for Full Service. That is on top of the house fee, which is usually 200-250 ETB. IF you pay more than that, definitely a ripoff.

However, I am not sure of the logic. Let me compare it to another conservative religious country: Philippines. The girls there --even grown up in a very conservative catholic environment. Are horny like neighbours poodle.

In a 2005 WHO study of Ethiopia, 59% of women reported lifetime sexual abuse by a partner, while one third of women reported that during the past 12 months they were physically forced to have sex against their will with their partner. This was the highest prevalence of all countries surveyed. In the traditional rural communities women are considered 2nd grade humans. They have no right to enjoy their lust but are just used to bear children and clean the house. And all this has nothing to do with the influence of the conservative religion. But it reflects the attitude of girls having sex: an obligation but not a pleasure.

I agree with your argument that they consider sex as an obligation rather than a means to satisfy their natural desires. In rural towns, women's role in our society boils down to bearing children and Cooking / Homemaking.

However, I believe Ethiopian version of Christianity differs from what is practiced in the Philippines or the US. In the US for example, the predominant religion is Evangelical Christianity. There are religious nut jobs in the US if you go to the southern states. But, the girls are horny as hell and revel in their sexuality. They are okay with giving head and might do other staffs like anal sex.

But, Orthodox Christianity is literally too orthodox. And tends to hinder the sexuality of the both genders. Through its teachings.

Let me point you to an MP that I have driven by a few days ago. First go to the 4 Kilo roundabout. About 1 kilometer. Then, on the road to piassa (Adwa street), go past "tourist hotel" and on the left, on the second side street walk a few meters in, you would get an MP. About 1.2 KM in total.

I advise you to get a meter taxi to tourist hotel. And then walk the 200 meter. They would charge you about 100 Br.
