Yes, it's not "out of the ordinary" in a sense that it's just high and not an absolutely clear ripoff that we sometimes hear about, but it sure is more than 99% of the hookers are NOT worth it for ST, especially in Pattaya. Pretty office girl on the BTS or even a plain one from 7-11, maybe. Tatted up, hardened Issan hooker in Pattaya (who might still have some looks left if you're drunk). Not so much.

That's 2 weeks (10 work days) of full-time work for a minimum-wage Thai, which is majority of the people. Earning that in an hour is huge.

As for local guys, there are well-off Thais who'd pay that much just to impress their buddies. But I don't see them paying 3 k ST for an Issan hooker / disco freelancer.

Thought I should weigh in on the discussion about paying 3 k for short time as it was my payment for this amount that started the debate.

First, there were some oddities as to how she ended up back in my apartment and perhaps most importantly she is not Thai but from Tehran and Singapore -- an exotic combination to be sure and did not live here. She initially expressed no interest in going with me, then said she was too expensive, and at a later point quoted me 10 k baht that she ultimately knocked back to 6 k baht. I respectively declined and though she asked me the minimum I would pay (my answer was 3 k), I assumed our evening was over. Even though I said 3k, this amount would only be paid in exceptional circumstances, and figured we were too far apart in price in any event so it was a moot point of contention.

After briefly parting ways, I came across her again at the songthaew truck location near WS where she initially accused me of following her. Not sure if she was joking or not. I replied that I was going back to my accommodations just as she was. We both ended up dickering with the driver about the price before climbing in together. When I arrived at my destination, I was surprised that she got off the truck with me and even more so when she accompanied me to my apartment.

In the apartment after a 1/2 hour of chat, she inquired whether I was still willing to pay 3 k baht and at this point I was not about to try to re-negotiate. Bad form, I think. As it turned out, she was a superb performer and well worth it. Total GFE too.

But, it's more than I have paid for a girl all winter. In Bangkok, even for LT, my max price has been 2 k baht. She was my first girl in Pattaya and I know that amount is quite high for here but this situation unfolded in a peculiar way.

That being said, last night I was watching CNBC, an American business news station, when I heard a commentator note he thought Iranians were the best businessmen and negotiators in the world. It gave me pause -- I will tell you that.

Though I don't think she can get 10 K in BKK, maybe in SG. Where does she ply her trade while in BKK? I'd guess Mixx or Spasso.

She went to Bangkok to visit her embassy, but not sure which one since she has dual citizenship, as she needs more pages added to her passport. She is quite well traveled. I don't think she has any plans to hustle at any BKK clubs as she is only there a night or two before catching a flight somewhere. I was a little unclear where she was going after that but she mentioned something about how she likes Japan. I did joke with her about asking Singapore prices, which she acknowledged. Not your average Pattaya girl as she claimed to speak Russian, Chinese, and some Arabic. Plus her native Farsi tongue and fluent English.

Having a SG passport is a tremendous advantage if you want to travel in Asia. It's less of a hassle too for Europe and US.

Hey guys,

I am going to be in Pattaya for three nights from April the 13th to Saturday the 16th. I have been to Pattaya before and to Bangkok many times, but never over Songkran. Leaving aside the certainly of being soaked with water, how is the talent in Pattaya over this holiday? Do many of the girls head out for the holiday, or do they stay in town? I am also wondering whether BKK would be a better call, given the festival. Any insights?

Other BM's who live in Pattata may know more detail but I am under the impression that the Songkran dates and celebration takes place on the following weekend (I. E. 16/17). I think there is a parade on beach road. In fact, Songkran is celebrated on slightly different dates throughout Thailand. I just discovered this during the winter months as I laid plans to leave before Songkran.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Based on reports from another forum, prices of over 10000 to 20000 baht per night with little or no service seems the norm. Of course they ask payment up front, as always a bad sign. . .

And they are only Russian in a very loose definition of the word. Many are actually from the Southern and Eastern republics and at best may claim some Russian ancestor somewhere in the family tree.

If your fancy is Russian girls, you'd be better off to travel to Russia or even Germany where many of the FKKs and brothels are well stocked with them. Hell, even in the red light district of Antwerpen, we have a few of them.

It's really a hard job to find out the actual and original DOB of a WG from which one can figure out her age. But yes like it has been said like 100 times in this forum, the best way to know a WGs age is to find out her DOB in her Identity document. I followed the same to know the age of my girl with whom I spent a lot of time during my recent trip. But later I find out an interesting fact which I'd like to share with you guys.

1 - This girl has several Facebook accounts (at least 3 I know of) in which DOB mentioned are all different. So it's hard to rely on dates mentioned in FB. I simply skipped it.

2 - One good day I took her passport to give it to the hotel receptionist and just before handing checked out the DOB mentioned in it. The DOB matches with the date mentioned in her latest Facebook profile. So I trusted the info in passport (she is 20 as per passport).

But somewhere in my mind I was not ready to accept it since she is a divorcee and has a son (almost 3 yrs old or more) which means she must have got married at the age of 15-16, sounds quite unfamiliar. On top of that she clearly told me that she didn't has much schooling, thus I guess there wouldn't be any educational certificate to prove her DOB. And considering her financial, educational and family details I don't think she would be having a birth certificate as well. I wonder what document she provided to prove her DOB while getting her passport.

Anyway we had fun and now while going through her FB profile I found out another profile with her photo and few other photos of her son's and her parent's. I believe this profile is her legit profile and the DOB mentioned in it is 10 years older than what's mentioned in her passport, so she would be 30 if I consider this DOB. The assumptions here could be A. May be accidentally she has entered her DOB wrong here, B. She lied / faked her age in her Passport.

Considering all above facts, is it possible to fake one's DOB while getting Passport? I know it's very hard to provide fake / wrong documents while getting a serious document like Passport but considering her situation there might be a chance that she was not able to provide a legit document and somehow managed it with a random date. But nothing can be said for certain.

I'm really confused what to believe, may be someone can provide some more light on it. As a matter of fact she is from Laos.
