it 'is' true the number of hot girls in the dr is far less than thailand. but again, me-myself, the girls consider me at the top of the food chain being a white guy plus a spanish speaker. so i don't have many problems pulling the best ones at better pricing as the girls want to be comfortable too knowing what kind of guy they are going with. most guys coming to the dr for the first time will get hustled / ripped off a couple times before learning the game and how to minimize their risk.

I found an excellent Gogo Bar in Patpong. [b]Bada Bing[/b]. I have never been there before. It's located in a small side road that connects Soi 2 with the market, close to Silom. The place is well managed, has lots of customers, clean, nicely and modern decorated, the prices are ok. And lot's of young girls. From all Gogo bars I have seen in Patpong this one is by far the best. If you like young girls with a reasonable attitude - go there. A good place!

Last May I was visiting the temple complex of what Yannasang Wararam Woramahawihan in Thailand with my Thai GF. As is usual in Thailand (and many other countries) one takes of one's shoes before entering.

Just before we arrived, a group of Chinese tourists entered and they all (none excepted!) managed to drop their shoes in front of the door, none using the storage space provided left and right of the door!

Inside the stupa, their guide provided some commentaries in a rather loud voice. I do not know if it is perhaps a property of the Chinese language but it seems that it always sounds rather loud. Or perhaps the guide just had to shout because the majority of his flock paid no attention to what he was saying and happily carried on their conversations (again in a rather loud voice).

Then, when we were making merit in front of the altar on the upper floor, the group of Chinese tourists entered this room as well (and none too discretely) and tried to walk in front of us, in other words, between us and the altar.

Now it may very well be that none of these Chinese were Buddhists, but even an atheist (as myself) knows that it is simply not done to cross between someone paying respect at an altar and the altar. I am sure that these Chinese know that very well, but they simply did not care.

My lovely GF made an angry face at these tourists and told them to move behind us. I am not sure whether they understood any Thai, but the meaning of what she said surely came across and they walked behind her.

And this is not the only incident we had with groups of Chinese tourists: generally they are loud and show no respect. I really wonder if they act the same in their own country or whether they only do so when abroad.

Let me preface this all by saying that the first year I was in Bangkok I used to like the Gogo bars and used to barfine girls all the time. I hate all that stuff about "oh it was so much better 10 years ago" and firmly believe it is the individuals perception that changes and NOT the overall scene (anybody turning up in Pattaya or Bangkok for the first time will STILL be as blown away as I was 20 years ago).

Last night having just come back from that god awful place Dubai and with the wife away I was pretty desperate to bust a nut. For something different I thought I would go for a no holds barred visit to the Gogo bars of Nana and Cowboy and find me the most smoking hot girl possible and pay whatever was required with no regard to cost. What a dissapointment the evening turned out to be.

I visited Baccara, Kiss, Tilac, Rainbow 4, Mandarin, Angel Witch, and about 5 others inbetween. Despite all that I still came away empty handed with just the search having cost me well over 1, 000 baht (some bars I just poked my head in, others I sat down and had a drink and bought drinks for girls).

There were some ok looking girls but absolutely NO stunners at all. Of the better looking girls the attitudes were soso at best. Having been here long enough I know which girls that charm will dissapear from as soon as the barfine is paid. Seeing good looking girls who are asking for 2, 000 baht short time (we are talking the top 20% of the bar) plus the bar fine and then the short time room and just KNOWING you will get perfunctory service at best was just completely unnappealing.

It was a good reminder of why I have never seen Gogo's as a P4P option for the last 6 or 7 years. To me it is just a total waste of time. I think it says a lot about Bangkok that an extremely horny guy with an unlimited budget can visit the best gogo's in Bangkok and a load of others in between and still walk away empty handed (I recognise that a lot of that is to do with me being jaded by the scene). All this is to mention nothing of the scores of single guys sitting on their own on one side of the bar while the girls all sit alone on the other side of the bar playing angry birds (pun intended).

So after 3 hours of searching I walked down Soi 23 on my way home and saw a delightful 20 year old in one of those massage parlours there. She was'ny the best girl I had seen but like so many non gogo places she was bright, friendly and bubbly and for 1, 500 baht all in you just KNOW you will have a great time. Great massage, BBJ, full sex and cum on her tits, fun girl, great personality, warm, welcoming and excellent value for money.

For me the BEST service and best experience in Bangkok is in the massage places. Always has been and always will be. Its where you find the Thailand experience that you read about and the attitude is ALWAYS infinitely better.

I have been to China many years prior to Thailand and have done my share of tours throughout China. Coming from a family that are buddhists the manner in which Chinese practice is very different than the Thai, in general in my opinion we don't take it so serious nor do we have to pray so much by going to the temple. Another opinion from me is that for a country that prays and adhere to so much trandition then go out in the morning and do completely the opposite sometimes makes me wonder.

In general particularly the southern Chinese are very loud and pushy they must be Hakka like my family. In the old days at family gathering they are loud and in time they get even louder. You are correct it is common sense when someone is praying one doesn't walk in front, if they have to they usually lower their head and body some. Just the fact when your lovely girlfriend told them to move behind and they didn't complain and walk behind lead me to believe they didn't know regardless of being a tourist as we all know being a tourist in groups sometimes people do stupid things and not out of respect.

Being in lot of tours throughout Asia I in your case blame the tour guide and the Thais who recieve the group to be the blame for not explaining to the Chinese Tour guide the tradition. But I know many True Atheist and they never would venture into a temple even for pussy so I wouldn't consider you a Atheist but as Thai say " up to you "
