Not to mention you got to be mentally tough to work the bars, where the real money is at. I've seen chicas in HK literally falling down so drunk because she drank too many fichas and a mesero has to throw her over his shoulder and carry off somewhere so she can pass out. I imagine they have a couple rooms where they just use to dump off chicas who are passing out falling down drunk. They're probably being constantly bombarded with meseros and guys trying to get them hooked on drugs and pimp them out. Other chicas trying to stab them in the back and steal their best clients. Being a bar puta is not for the faint of heart.

Where is that place in Tijuana that is good for shopping local stuff, tons of small shops, etc? Not a corporate mall. Looking for some t-shirts, souvenirs I can take back home, etc. Is it near ZN?

Probably 50% of Tijuana's "tourists" are guys going to Hong Kong, 49% are just passing through to cross the border, and 1% are actually visiting Tijuana for it's natural beauty and relaxing charm.

What specifically are you looking for besides tourist knick knacks which can be purchased all up and down Avenida Revolucion?

I recommend Leather, Silver Items, and Oaxacan Crafts, Guayabera shirts.

Atoyac Leather. Calle 3.

Guayaberas. Hand Art next to Caliente Casino On Revolucion and 4th st.

Oaxacan Crafts- Little alley that empties out into Plaza Santa Cecillia.

Silver. There are two notable curio shops for silver I recommend. One 2 doors down from Ceasras on Revo same side of the street. Then directly across the street somewhat in a diagonal line from the other shop.

Candies / Mexican Treats. Mercado Hidalgo Zona Rio.

One was married and had three young kids. She was married to an ahole that got drunk all the time and physically abused her and the kids. He was a taxi driver and she didn't work (in Mexicali). She took the kids and up and left him. She was then faced with the dilemma of now having to support the kids and pay rent. She went to work in the Panasonic battery factory in Tijuana where she made maximum 75.00 per week. She could not even come close to supporting herself and kids. She looked high and low for a job and could not find a thing that would give her the income needed. One day she saw an ad in the paper for a waitress with good tip opportunity. She went to the location and it turned out to be Bar Tropical. On her first day, she plopped herself on a chair (next to a line of girls) waiting for clients, scared and frightened as Hell. But she needed the money. In about an hour, a gringo came over and they sat at a table. He started talking to her and noticed she was scared and timid. He bought her copious amounts of ficha drinks and asked her to go up to the room. She started to cry. This guy felt bad. He gave her a 100 dollar bill, told her God Bless You and exited the bar. Looking at that 100 dollar bill, she thought to herself, I could never make this in a week. I have to stick this out. Which she did. She ended up going to work at Adelitas. I know utube travelers that have visited dozens of Mexico cities this year and still never went to Tijuana. It literally has nothing to offer other than location on the border to USA. You can't even swim in the ocean most of the time. It's more expensive than the rest if Mexico and it's the most dangerous city on earth several years running. I don't think half the tourists are mongers. Maybe 5%. I was thinking about this recently because Tijuana tinder has so many endless woman on it. Usually even in big cities I start seeing same people or run out. But its endless with Tijuana, and realized, it's all the working girls flying in for few weeks of work, and all the other Americans coming here to fly to southern Mexico.

I was looking at the border wait times for General pedestrians, and it says on border wait times. Gov that the lanes are closed.

I've only ever gone into Tijuana through this port of entry next to the shopping outlet, if this option is closed how else can I cross over?

Thursday, a lot street woman all day into 5 pm, since day before it rained. If you ever see rain in San Diego hit up Tijuana next day. Had 15 dollar offers on streets but hate the dirty mattress. Tropical, full of woman, even some that were in Chicago week ago. I think Chicago losing men and woman to tropical. Anyways had fun in trop, spent 60 on 1 woman for 45 minutes in the club. $ for Sex is not my thing anyway, ventured into Gloria hotel because its always full of 30 to 40 year old woman, 2 dollar beers. As soon as I walk in a gay Mexican maybe 25 sits next to me. I immediately explain I need new seat so chica can sit. After 5 seat changes, him following me every time, 2 waiters explaining to him to leave me alone, 1 girl I even asked, is he handsome? She said yes, I was like oh that's a shame. LOL eventually I ran out this guy wouldn't stop following me and unless someone slows their Spanish down to half speed I have no idea what they are saying anyway.
