I think the main advantage of the mansion is not necessarily the value for the money. I was a first timer with no Spanish. So I got to hang out with a bunch of fellow mongers and Robert was a great host. He took us around to brothels and clubs as well as restaurants, etc. If you already know Medellin and speak Spanish, of course you don't need to stay there.

But, if you come to Medellin thinking it will be easy to pick up girls, I think you will be disappointed. Women do not go out alone to clubs normally. They are usually part of a group. Your options will be casas (massage parlors), strip clubs or independents. You should work really diligently at pipelining the independents, or you guys will be holding your dicks for the most part. Medellin is an awesome place for women but it is not as easy as you might think. That is why most guys recommend staying at the Mansion first time.

There are significantly nicer apartments and hotels that will cost less.

The advantage to the Mansion is that you have instant camaraderie with 11 other like-minded visitors. If you don't need this or if you visit MDE with a couple friends, you'll probably be happier elsewhere. You also have available chicas hanging out. However finding chicas in MDE shouldn't be problem if you've read this site. Prostitution is legal in Colombia and MDE is chock full of attractive females looking to supplement their income.

FWIW I frequently stay at the Mansion as I like the camaraderie with my fellow guests (many whom I've met on previous trips). I also like the the staff (Alexa, Carlos, Juan, the maids, etc) and yes even Greg and Robert.

I try and get the chica to come up alone, sometimes works. There is a guy there Luis, that speaks perfect English. Can help with the normal things but is a doofus with mongering. Can you say pussy wupt. Highly recommend this area for access to the whole city via metro, activities, clubs, bars, etc. Nightlife goes on most of the night. Street walkers out front sometimes. Look for the guy in a wheelchair, seems to be their pimp. Never partook as some look very young.

I was in Medellin basically 5 days. Twice my taxi was stopped and the taxi driver and I were asked to leave the taxi and we were patted down. I do not know what flag was causing the police to pick us out as other cars were passing.

In 20+ trips been stopped twice. I never had my passport. They want to see your entry stamp so now I get a copy of it and my picture page when I check in at the hotel and carry that with. All have said that would suffice.

Noticed a lot of you are looking for monger friendly hotels. I just reserved a condo in the Castropol region of Poblado with a pool, gym, basketball courts, free parking, and 24 hour security. Got an extra bedroom available if anybody is interested. PM me. Of course, monger friendly. I am a soon to be med school grad and coming to Medellin for some much deserved vacation. A couple of my buddies will be visiting as well. Time to party.

Was in MDE on business this week and took advantage to hit up several of the casas that stay open late.

Two visits to Energy, which I visited on previous trips. Nice line up with several 7's and 8's. Chose Zara (#42) a 26 year old Paisa with a spinner build. Nice service. Everything covered the first night but on the second visit she gave me a nice BBBJ after I warmed her up with some DATY. Nice facilities, although showers are cold water only. Damage - 140 k for one hour.

I also visited Thai Spa. I arrived at 9 pm. From other reports here I expected a nice line up but there were only 2 chicas available, both of which were only 6's. I chose the slimmer of the 2. 21 year old Paisa by the name of Jennifer. She told me that she is new to the business having start the only a week ago. Nice massage to begin and then decent CBJ. When me moved to the FS stage things got really hot. We went at it for a good 30 minutes non-stop in a variety of positions. We were both drenched in sweat when I finally popped. She gave me a tight hug and DFK before we hit the shower.

Nice place but drinks are a rip-off. 20 k for a beer! Damage, 160 K for one hour.

This Colombia board has many sub forums that you can find in the index. They are there for a reason. Visited Thai Spa. Entered the reception area serenaded by Oriental music giving the premises that eastern flavor. Was presented with 4 chicas:

Luciana.

Salome.

Natalia.

Lena.

This casa has the most modern facilities of all the casas I've been to in Medellin and that includes the old Leutron not the new one which I've not been to yet. The room was a bit small but comfortable.

I am certain that my choice would have turned heads on the street six years ago. However, she turned out to be a star fish at one point closing her eyes while I attended to her once perfect body (I presume). She clearly was not happy with her life, perhaps she was accustomed being pleased by guys rather than the other way around especially with a foreigner the other side of sixty. Anyway the ultimate purpose of my visit was fulfilled.

I really enjoyed the music that was played in the room. 40's and 50's jazz with vocals by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. , Peggy Lee, Dean Martin, etc. Music my dad used to play when I was a kid, which I still enjoy.

It's a shame that a casa with such good facilities did not have a better lineup.

I have seen you write a similar message already in the past, but I just ignored it due to its lack of thoughtfulness, angry nature and poor attitude. I was going to ignore this one as well, but perhaps some insight will keep you from not posting the same lame reply in the future. In addition, I hate coming to a site filled with sex and seeing such an angry person on it. It is very disappointing.

Not everybody goes through nor has time to analyze every sub-forum on ISG. Some of us do real work to keep our world out of the "chitter" as you put it.

Some of the guys were asking about monger friendly hotels on here and so I replied to that. It is about helping each other out. Not about making sure every message is perfectly organized. If you had a job that dealt with real issues, then you would understand how petty you sound.

I do in fact appreciate organization, but rather than ridiculing people with repeated condescending messages, a more effective approach would be to just post the link along with a less hate-filled speech. May I suggest having another Old Parr and chilling out my friend.

Thanks for the valuable report. Cold water at a Medellin spot that charges what Energy does is not acceptable. Several Centro shit holes have the electric heaters on their shower heads. This is good to know, it helps my feet know how to vote.
