That truly is a lot of women. Pack a lunch for this one.

New to the forum, and International mongering. Thank you to those who are providing great info, Still trying to put all the pieces together for a Sosua trip.
And you will find these chicas to be less likely to want to have problems with the law. I took my Haitian chica with me to the Airport and I could read the fear in her eyes as she walk my the police official.
LOL. But a very sad thing
Good explanation OldKool, but it goes a little deeper from the Dominican standpoint. What you say is true, but it is a long, brutal, history associated with Haiti that contributes to the hatred of anything linked to Africa and blackness. To acknowledge the acceptance of possibly being black would also acknowledge Haiti. But the facts are in the skin tone.
Its the reason that I could never take a Dominicana seriously. To deny the color of ones history is to deny ones self now. The knowledge is knowing. But to deny what is obvious to the eye, and tell otherwise, is either ignorant or arrogant.
Easy to say from a utopian viewpoint. You are not in their situation nor would you trade places with your targeted group.
I think every time we attempt to define or describe the Sosua scene, a different day, a different week, a different month, a different vacation, a different set of chicas or a different monger, the experience one may have can change in an instant. One mans lousy vacation / day / night does not set the tone for every other monger. And it surely doesn't mean a monger needs to go elsewhere. The last 3 vacations (Oct, Nov and Dec) , mostly were positive and very fulfilling. Take a guy like CubaDave. Because one of his prized mongering destinations is closed, he seems to be depressed or very disappointed in his last trip. So much so he left early. Whats he going to do, go back to Costa Rica because of that? Should any of us be thinking of going elsewhere because he or others had a bad trip or observed chicas asking for too much or offering poor service?
Another guy may go to Sosua and have a blast. One major factor that can make a difference, is timing. Another I think, is some people are spoiled, and can't seem to make an adjustment or adapt. So what, Monday may be dead. If it was me, I'd save some leche for another day. Or find something else to do with my time. I think enough guys that come to Sosua for vacation, rely too much on chicas from the clubs / bars. Maybe they have to because that is all they know, or thats all they have time for?
A dude can create options and opportunities if he is willing to go outside of his comfort zone. I'll be there next week, and I'm almost sure my mileage may differ than what some guys are reporting / observing. For one, I know about 6 sureshot chicas I can hook up with. I won't need to rely soley on the chicas on the strip to meet my needs. But even then, I'm sure I will indulge in a few on the strip during the time I'll be down there.
If you keep in touch with a few chicas you can always have a little black book to fall back on. Of course the downside is, talking to them while back home will certainly get them asking for $$. I have a few "freebies" (non pros) but of course we all know they cost more. LOL! But nice to have on a slow Monday IMO

Haitians dominated the Island back in 1840s. Every since then they have been vilified and demeaned. The recent action taking away citizen ship from those who have some Haitian blood is right out of the 1800s. If your grandparent was of Haitian decent you might no longer be considered a Dominican ciitzen even though you have never been to haiti. No one would believe this but it is true. There are 2 things on Hispanola I like, the women and the music. I would not be surprised to see a revolution in the Dr. The conditions for average citizens are very hard. Wages for an average worker pays for half of what is needed to live. 5 % of the population live like kings while the others struggle to eat every day.

I have not seen any reconnoissance lately. Is any one in Sosua? I understand things have likely moved to the discos with CMP and Passons closing. Where are people finding interesting things at?
I am doing in a month and like to research the are first so I put a map together of places I have herd about on sites like this and some of hobotraveler and Cuba dave videos. Here is a lonk to what I have so far. It should get better after I go.
How is the price structure now?

But nice to have on a slow Monday IMO
Well I'm on the ground in Sosua. Got here Saturday. Was thinking of my blondie chica lately, so after getting in my place and a little shopping, I called her. Said she was home in Santiago. She said she was coming to Sosua, will be there around 11pm (in spanish ). I never set foot on the strip.
Sunday night wasnt sure who I was going to call, but I was thinking of my restaurant chica on the beach. Didn't call her initially, but I went to get a pedicure in the afternoon. Towards the end of my pedi, the chica in the salon seemed receptive so I expressed interest and we agreed to get together when she got off at 7. Came by at 7, she wasnt in the salon. Called her but there was so much noise in the background, couldn't hear shit. Told her to text me, no text. So immediately I went to plan B. One of my adopted policies is not to waste too much time on flaky females / situations.
Called my restaurant chica, she was home? Got herself together and was in Sosua around 9pm. Stopped for some pizza, and off to my spot. So yes, mi hermano, having backups can be worthwhile. The benefit is you know what to expect in the bedroom. No concerns of scams or unnecessary BS. Negotiating is usually not necessary, nor is money discussed. You already know what you are going to give her. Main problem though, is once you make contact, you might have to deal with them trying to monopolize your time, or assume you plan on seeing them everyday. You see them everyday, they expect to be getting paid everyday. This chica no longer works at the restaurant. So unfortunately now she will be available every day.
Thats not good for me. I like when chicas are working and not readily available. I've learned though. One of the best chica repellents in existence IMO, is to just tell a chica you don't have any money. You tell them that, and more likely than not, that chica will be ghost. I remember one chica last month that was persistently pestering me about getting together again and again. It wasnt until I told her I didnt have any money, that she made a complete 180 and just said ok amor, and stopped calling. It was like magic. Any other excuse and the pestering would continue to no end.
You are not in their situation nor would you trade places with your targeted group.
Pretty silly argument. I would not trade places with an Al-Qaeda suicide bomber but it doesn't mean I cannot justifiably condemn their philosophy.
Noticed a shitload of mongers in Sosua. From what I'm hearing most hotels especially the popular ones are booked solid. I took a ride down to Villa Chessa way down by Playa Chiquita. Spoke briefly to the owner and he said he was booked solid all the way until March. Now thats saying something. Especially for an establishment that is way away from the strip. I think Rockys, Mary Rose, and Sosua Suites is booked solid too. As are most of the hotels, including Seabreeze. I helped a buddy of mine with his reservation at Condos Margarita more than a month ago. I asked by friend J to call and follow up to make sure all was good with his reservation. They tried to pull a fast one, claiming they made a mistake. That they had already booked the same condo / apt to another party. The truth more likely, the other party was probably longer term than my 2 friends.
They were going to move them to another CM owned property near Banca Reserves. After some shame tactics on my part, I eventually got a text back saying they had their original reservation. And thats the problem when there is no cash deposit on reservations. 1st come does not always mean 1st served. The other party may or not have been regulars at CM like my friends. But many of these hotels go by who will earn them the most money. Most of these hotels won't tell you they changed your preferred room / apt. You find that shit out when you get there.
I've had that happen when staying at one of Ricks places. But I have been flexible with Rick because he is a stand up guy. He will work things out for a customer. But he is a business man, and sometimes in the hotel business a little juggling of clients or potential clients is necessary.
Passions and CMP is closed. And the only reason I know is because I have to pass by there. Plenty of fresh faces in the chica department. A few guys I know who have been to the strip report a major influx of old and fresh chicas in Rumba and D'Latins and Sosua overall. While sitting at Rockys in the early evening I notice plenty of new chicas in town. I see plenty of regulars walking around. I'm sure all of these chicas are going to be feeling the fierce competition for clients. Don't be fooled though. Some of these chicas are going to be aiming high when it comes to pricing out their services. I'm sure they recognize newness when they see it. Even the new chicas are going to be aiming high because they were trained / advised to do so.
Guys are going to have to shoot that shit down. Unfortunately, I think there are going to be too many hungry / thirsty pussy starved dudes in town who won't have the time, skill, nor the patience to negotiate. Mind you, Super Bowl is days away. Each day that passes up until then, IMO it's going to be wall to wall mongers and chicas in town. I'm already seeing the classic mobs of dudes walking down the street together. So I expect to see more of that the closer we get to SBS. Haven't been to Sosua playa yet. But I did go to Caberete Sunday afternoon. Cabarete looked like it was jam packed with tourists. Didn't venture out on the beach because I stayed in Kahuna to play pool. But the venders were in usual form. Like crosstown buses, one after the other going up to people to try to sell the same stuff the previous vender 2 seconds ago had. Looking out on the beach, left and right, beach was full and all of the restaurants looked full. I'm pretty sure they had much business all night long.
Be extra careful guys. A certain % of mongers are going to have a problem on their vacation. There is going to be reports of thefts, robberies, scams and whatnot. A friend of mine just reported to me that he believes money was stolen out of his safe in Hotel Europa. He says he makes it a practice of always counting his money and knowing what he has on hand. But this one time after he came from being out (his room was cleaned) he eventually checked his money and he was short a a 2000 peso and a couple of 1000 pesos. So says he is so sure what he had that he knows somebody has been in his safe. So now he is looking to get out of there.
I recommend right now to any monger. Make sure you know how much and what you have on you at all times. Don't just blindly spend money and don't know what you have. Don't leave things out that can easily be picked up, and forgot about. Also, consider rigging things in your room so you'll know if something has been tampered with while you are out. For instance, you put something in or on your safe that only you know about. Take a picture of how you left your room or the object. Set up a trap so that if they go there, they cause a mess or an alert (like spilling a cup of water / juice etc / set off an alarm ).
So far it's been 2 days. I got 32 more to go. So I'll be here when most folks leave after SBW. To be continued.
Pretty silly argument. I would not trade places with an Al-Qaeda suicide bomber but it doesn't mean I cannot justifiably condemn their philosophy.
Again. Get off your missionary attitude.
The only places I have ever stayed in Sosua are Europa and Sosua Bay. Neither me nor my friends have ever had a problem of theft by hotel employees (thieving chicas yes). But if I suspected I would have a problem then: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006WA9Z26
The times that I have been travelling and thought that I had been got, I later remember that I broke the bill down when I paid for something. It happens more than you would think; especially in countries that use high-denomination bills such as 1000s. You think you have a lot, but they go quickly.
