And there is also no problem bringing in guests there either. Actually that is why most of them are there; to fuck in. I know a couple of guys who stay in them long term for less than $150/month. True mongers don't have want to waste time or money running back and forth between Poblado and downtown.

If they are pros, however, your money will generate the interest.

After having a rest and a shower, we hit to Bamboa first. Damage: 250 reais entrance, all consumable, 25 reais parking, 180 room, and 500 the lady, that all fore one hour. Nice girls but not many, as normally on Saturdays.

THAT was a post on Brazil São Paulo forum. So I think over $260 USF for an hour!

If somehow you can get medellin models for that much for 3 or so hours then looks like better deal. Issue just getting these.

Hotel is hotel, if you stay at upscale hotel you can go to the bar / restaurant to eat / go to pool / nightclub / gym and meet other cool people who are on vacation.

I know that some apartments might have some amenities that I have mentioned.

If we like silicone and booty. Is Cali good place to venture as well? I know booties are big there.

To those who prefer Medellin over Cali, why? Safety reasons? Is pricing same or more or less in Cali.

Cali has a great music / dance scene and it's easier to meet non-pros than in MDE if that's your thing.

However, MDE is a prettier and more pleasant city.

Those can be a lot of fun. Medellin has world class restaurants and shopping, none of which are downtown. Some of the non-trash members might want to bring a girl over that doesn't have glue on her breath. Maybe a place that doesn't allow girls in that forgot their cedulas. Then there's the guys who might want to walk out of their hotel and take a walk around without worrying about being stabbed.

Maybe they just don't want to be stuck in the sewer after they've had their fun.

Spanish intensive courses, individual or in a small group, can change the situation for your in weeks.

Work hard on the accent. A peculiar accent is harder to understand than if you use the wrong form of a verb.

English speakers must focus on pronouncing "are". It's the key.

And people like a lot when you use Spanish correctly, it's like they feel you have an interest in Colombia, not just another drunk gringo looking for strip clubs.

For me, it's fun for a day or two, but after that I need nicer surroundings. But if you don't mind hanging in a gritty (and possibly dangerous) area, you can find some real gems for next to nothing.

For the most part, they don't use anything close to correct Spanish.
