Good review. The cost of the massage place was probably around 120,000 dong. The tout probably got the rest or split it with his contact there like the front desk lady. So the girl basically worked for free. If you had money you should have gave her 300,000 dong. But if you looked like you had money or a newbie she would try for 500-1 million dong. If you go back without the tout and they remember you. Don't pay 500 again and be prepared to walk. In this situation refuse to pay more than 200,000 and be ready to walk. They will stop you. There is a reason there is no list of prices at these places. If you go back there which I don't recommend for your own safety. They will remember you and if that girl you did not pay sees you. You should have 300,000 ready to hand her before she goes crazy. If you can get the name and address of this place t would be great.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Hanoi is not dead but it is not user friendly. With those sites you just text the girl and set up a meeting but if you can't read Vietnamese it is going to be difficult. The way people communicate over text does not always lend itself to google translate.
