Tilac: Visited here a couple times recently and found it pretty bad. It has a reputation as one of the best, but the girls I saw were pretty rough looking. Several of them looked over 40 and leathery. Even the younger girls were average looking and had big chubby legs. I saw one girl I think might have been attractive from the side, but I didn't get a good look at her. Not the friendliest place either. Definitely possible to sit there for an hour without any girls talking to you or making much eye contact.
Suzie Wongs: Average lineup. A few decent girls. Too many chubby girls. A few with some big tits. Staff is friendly. Not a bad place to spend a couple minutes.
Waylon if you find a group of fun attractive and boisterous Thai girls asking you to service them "very irritating" then it may be time to go home. If you find that irritating then there is not much point being here :)
I walk past them every day and they always make me smile.
I can attest to Bowerboy's claims that Soi 23 is good value. Almost all of the massage places on Soi 23 offer FS or at least mouth party, even the lone disappointment wasn't too bad. On one occasion I got LT for 1K +500 BF and it was great... shot 2 times along with BBFS. yes, i know not very smart.. but sometimes the temptation is too great to pass up.. oh well
As far as free sex goes, you have to put up with not being able to monger or see other girls as much. It's a big time commitment and many lost opportunities. Tony's got it right, I've received all those sorts of texts and e-mails. And that's even though I was always honest with these girls and told them up front there was zero possibility of a LTR, never mind marriage. If (and when) they asked, I even was honest about being attached back home. Several of the girls were really sweet and fun to hang out with, but inevitably I'd get bored, usually after the 2nd or 3rd "date". Once they gave it up (usually on the first date) , there was no more thrill of the chase. I know some guys come to Thailand, meet a girl on night #1 and stay with her the whole week or two. I have never done that, at most I repeat once more with the really good ones. And even some of the gorgeous ones who were 10/10 in bed, I don't call them back because I'm always interested in something new. So it's pretty clear why these pre-arranged dates aren't for me. I guess there are some real pros online, but it seems to me that almost all are girls looking for a BF at least, if not a LTR and husband.
I finally quit doing this earlier this year after I met a totally non-pro girl online from Pattaya. She had a normal job and was cute in her pics and fun, witty and intelligent when we chatted online and exchanged e-mails. I was staying in Pattaya for work, so after work I met her for drinks. She was plumper than I imagined, and just wasn't sexy to me. Plus, since my arrival everywhere I looked were these smoking hot girls all available for a bar fine and small fee. After drinks I told her I had to go out with business associates and that was it. I hit a bar, got a much hotter girl. I sent her an e-mail a couple of days later just saying I was too busy and couldn't see her, she got the hint and stopped e-mailing me back. After that, I decided that I was done with that game.

You fly thousands of miles with a limited number of days and risking your precious time like this would not cut it with me. The same game exists at home. So why leave home if it works there and what is the point taking it take it to Thailand? Please explain.

Obviously Bowerboy is easily amused (no harm in that) and his only reason for remaining in Thailand seems to be so he can service Thai girls. Not to realize the spiritual enjoyment of living in a Buddhist country with the rich history that Thailand offers, the warmth of it's people, it's superior health care system, amazing affordable restaurants, being able to enjoy both spectacular mountain scenery and some of the best beaches in the world is a sad reflection. Incidentally I thoroughly enjoy the company of Thai ladies and frequent a number of well known establishments however none are located in Soi 23. Anybody who knows the scene will attest to the fact that with the odd exception the cream of the talent is found elsewhere but if your ego is tickled by girls mechanically shouting "massage sir" as you pass by then by all means go for it.
