I have been aware that Orange bar and Lipstick bar on Perimeter road were raided 2 days ago.
I had waited before posting so that I could get more accurate details.
It has been confirmed that 30 girls from Orange and 40 girls from Lipstick were arrested and are in custody.
I have not been able to get reliable enough info on whether foreigners have been arrested also.

It is always the right time to visit Angeles City.
Just last week I did get wet, yes it does rain. Does it matter? Not really. Umbrella can be purchased everywhere.
Remember that the number one past time in AC is an indoor sport (mostly).
Intersperse bar (indoors) with gym (indoors) with sex (indoors) and hot showers (indoors).
Bring it on.
Also, many trike rivers will do there best to get you dry-door to dry-door.

I only had LT girls, except for the times I had ST girls. YMMV.

[/QUOTE]The are not standing out but look poised to slowly take over AC. Every trip I make the more of them I see all around. Maybe earlier they were more focused on perimeter but now they are investing more on Fields Avenue as well. Last trip I saw the fall of Club RA to a Korean owner.
Hope when I visit in December I don't feel like I am Itaewon.

But its been a while now since the constant bar raids. 2-3 yrs ago it was a weekly event.
Sorry but have to rant about this as I was not too happy taking the mafia taxi from just outside Fields to Clark on my last visit. There was no traffic and the whole ride took about 7 min only and what a total ripoff. The 3 taxi drivers I tried to negotiate with would not accept anything less than 500 b (they originally wanted 700 b! And to top it off they were not exactly the friendly grateful types. Didn't even smile or say thank you when you paid them, just put money in pocket, close door and took off.
I actually had a lot of time to spare so considering other options on my next visit to AC.
Aware of the so called airport shuttle at Maingate but they only left when more than 4-5 passengers were present and this could take hours as almost nobody knew about this service. There was one day I walked by and saw 1 guy sitting there with luggage and I went to eat at the mall. Walked by about 1. 5 hrs later after eating and going back to hotel and he was still sitting there alone waiting for other passengers. Don't know how this shuttle could possibly stay in service??
I never asked the trike drivers, but can you actually take a trike instead to the airport?? But guessing since the trikes are total ripoffs in AC, they maybe asking the same price as taxis, or more.
Is there a jeepney that goes to Clark airport from Maingate? If there is then can someone provide me with details (PM me if you like).
Other options are welcome, but before someone say just walk it, I've thought about it but still too far and I have luggage in tow so not an option in the PI heat.

I remembered it looked like an ordinary jeepney. they will take even 1 person if you pay 250 p but that was over a year ago. Maybe they changed it to the green logo airport shuttle.
Dau bus terminal also hv the green airport shuttle.
Or you can ask the hotel security to get one for you.
I paid 350 when I stayed at Eurotel a year ago.
All info a year old.

I recently arrived in CRK around 7 am and to my surprise there were NO taxis! Security said they did not start until 8 am now. Going out of the terminal to the far right is the streamed lined looking Jeepney. He said he was going to main gate. P50 for me and luggage. Wth there wasn't anything else and the last time I was there the taxi wanted P500. I got on with 12 others and he drove and first stop was checkpoint Jollibee. I got off and took a P100 trike to my hotel. I don't know about the other way other than having pre-arrange taxi to CRK for P400.
Btw, trikes are not allowed in Clark.
I think there is a regular Jeepney to CRK but it stops short of the airport and you have to walk in. I am not sure where it stops and how far it is to the terminal.

Same reasons, girls of not correct age and Human traffic of persons.
Both bars were Korean owned but all welcome.
Both Bars have been shut down, not known if permanently or will be allowed to reopen at some time in the future.

That having been said, I enjoy reading these forums but do not feel the need to write / respond to any post, unless it's over the top and totally outrageous IMHO.
I enjoy the Philippines immensely and am of the opinion that there are very few other places in the world, IF ANY, that offer a similar setup as a mongering destination.
So, unless you have something worthwhile to say (and clock up posts with one liners) please keep your sarcasm to yourself because they are not contributing to the forum at all.
As I've already mentioned, I am definitely not a regular contributor, however I am a paid up member who does not need to deal with worthless comments aimed in my direction.
