You might be wasting quite a lot of time as girls do flake out quite often or they would be saying that the location is far as invariably they would not live anywhere near central Jakarta then you get a sense of how enormous Jakarta is even if you book the Grab for them.

So in short you do get your fair share of horny women but many of them are not in shape, like a large %. Then the ones who are in good shape I'm sure will get a lot messages (though obviously Jakarta has a lot less visitors / tourists than other places), I find myself swiping left like 85%.

I also installed Litmatch based on your suggestion, but it seems to have locked itself to Spain region for some reason (I first installed and used it there). Haven't bothered trying to uninstalling, or creating a new account for it, yet.

Edit: yes, that seems to have been it. Can only set the region once, so need to delete and create a new account for each region.

The lady turned out to look quite a lot older than her pic, and she shows up to this really expensive restaurant with her 20 year old son. They obviously enjoyed my hospitality and she tried to even keep wanting to meet me again and had to block her. There were a couple of others who were interesting on Tinder, but a combination of shortage of time, the other options, and feeling ill meant I couldn't explore them further. I still wonder whether they would have been freebies or where and how the topic of money would have happened if I had taken them for drinks etc. I will go back and try again to find out.

That one exception was a burmese girl in Thailand last year, who turned up as for a normal date, but after half an hour surprised me by expecting money for sex, at which point I kicked her out.

I'm no online dating expert, but the one tip I will give is never meet anyone at an expensive restaurant. Not even if you're loaded and don't care one ioata about the price of dinner. The best way to use Tinder in places like this, where cheap alternatives are so easily available, is IMO to not expect much, and use neither much time nor money on it. Use it while riding the exercise bike in the gym, waiting for food, relaxing with a cup of coffee, or sitting in a taxi. If you match up with someone, she wants to meet, and you end up banging her, great. If not, book grab to the Classic or whatever and less than 30 EUR later, you will be banging some other girl.

I guess I set it to Spain when installing it after reading your post, thinking I'll experiment with it a bit before changing to Jakarta later, but did not remember that it says you cannot change the region after registering.

I've spent so much time in Asia having previously lived there for the better part of two decades, I really have zero interest in spas, high end clubs, escorts and so forth. I think women, SE Asian and otherwise, prefer guys who dress nice, make an attempt to look nice, and are friendly and fun to be with. That matters more than whether the man is white or not, but sure, generally speaking I think SE Asian women prefer white guys.
