Our agreement had not been about waiting for other passengers first, then sharing the car, and finally taking long detours to other hotels. When I got out of the car I paid 200, less than each of the Koreans. I told the driver that after I had had to wait at least he should have gone to my place first. I don't think the driver understood my reasoning, and of course he was not happy, but neither was I, and my conscience was soothed by the knowledge that the driver still got 700 in total.

Since then I usually walk the few meters to the jeepney station and take one to main gate. It works the same in the other way, and if you have to wait long you could even offer the driver to pay for the missing passengers. It would still be cheaper than paying 500 - or maybe even 700 nowadays. As long as your luggage is cabin size, jeepneys are quite OK. You can also go to dau by jeepney, no problem, for 8 peso.

If you are on an incoming flight to Clark you could also try to ask fellow passengers if they need a ride to AC, too. Usually it's quite obvious whom to ask. Get together before the taxi drivers attack each of you separately, and then offer the driver 500-600 for the whole group.

There was a period when someone stopped the scam, but it is obviously back on again. Filipinos know the scam and take the jeepney near the airport arrivals exit to SM from where you can take local transport or walk. You may have to wait till the jeepney fills, but that does not take long when a flight arrives. Otherwise, there are many hotels which will pick you up at he airport for free if you have a booking with them. Ask your hotel when you make your booking. In any case, even if they charge for a pickup, it will likely cost less than the scam. My hotel picks me up at the airport for free and charges about 300 P to deliver me to the airport.

I am conducting a war against obese girls employed in the bars. Hollywood bar record by friend, I enter, girl about 4' 2" height and 4' 2" width (obese) rushes to me. I turn around and out the door. I then enter X 2 or whatever its called, formerly Forbidden City etc. Mamasan approaches me "I do not want fat waitress, says I". Mama supplies right girl, I tip when I leave later. Lots of girls on stage, bored, listless, one girl got spark, I call her down, full of smiles, energy and zest for life (wish I had it).

Other places, mostly plain jeans, but the small number of pretty ones are hungry to be barfined. I asked two pretty ones at Candy Bar why they don't work in Walking St where the BF is 3000 and thus bigger cut for girl, Candy is 1600 BF. Girls said "No good Walking ST, BF3000 , hard to get bafined, easy here, Perimeter", and she is right. So at lower BF she makes more money. Someone with commonsense for a change. On the basis of that I barfined her and her attractive girlfriend. Mama gives me free beer for that, LOL.

It mainly goes to show that everyone has a different opinion, you state that candy bar is great and full of attractive girls, I would describe candy bar as probably the worst bar on perimeter road both for fun and for girls, maybe was good when the rev was the manager some good few years back and before it was raided but always walk in and walk straight back out when I visit now.

As for girls choosing to work at bars that charge much less bar fine for the girls compared to the larger bars on fields all I can say is don't believe what bar girls claim, if she had the looks and body to compete for barfines / drinks commissions with the girls on fields she would be there, why, many more high spending customers to choose from, higher salary, free room, double the drinks commission for girls, and guys making it rain and generally throwing money at the girls like it is going out of fashion, a totally different story than the very few money saving expats that mainly use candy bar, not knocking the bar but it is what it is.

As far as claiming lower priced girls are great in the room and higher priced girls are not again this is subjective to what a customer wants / likes, some guys might skip age looks body and go for a needy, chubby, oldie because he want his ass licked or he wants to do unusual acts something a young attractive slim girl would be reluctant to do because she is in much higher demand and can afford not to have to do them, that does not make the attractive girl less good in bed if the punter does not want his ass licked etc.

I am glad Sxxx you have found your areas in angeles that you find suit your tastes and way of mongering but remember it may not be for most, thanks and enjoy.

About the K bars, I have never heard someone say the K bar owners are instructing their dancers to stay clear of westerners. I have never heard this.

Or felt that was happening. I tend to move around when there so I go to Perimeter and Fields bar both K and other, never heard anything like this.

I have experienced plenty of rejection because I'm not Asian but it seems random, a lady here or there won't make eye contact. I have never seen K customers behave in a negative way.

Regarding they be treated better than the western monger. I always thought it was business and the Ks are known to throw more money around, have smaller equipment.

And have more similar cultures to the pinays. Pinays like the Korean culture, music, TV and pop idols, etc. Just as the real pretty Thai ladies discriminate so do the hot AC BGs.

I've been in some bars like Tropics, or Las Vegas where the real hot BGs are solely for the Ks but I think it's the BGs strategy to make money, not an order from the boss. Another observation is that hot AC BGs.

Do not want to sit w / westerners because they'll be judged by their peers and maybe seen as damaged goods to the regular K clientele.

I like K bars because they tend to have better talent and I never feel resistance from the bar owner only from the lady of interest from time to time. Things are always changing and.

If it's real slow that should bring down some of these racial preferences by the BGs. On my last trip I definitely felt the climate was better for the western monger but things are always changing there.

I also think there's a significant percentage of women that prefer the westerners. I get a kick out of beating the Ks to a hot dancer but that's a 2 way street. Those guys are pretty sharp and have a good eye for talent and are quick on the trigger. That's why it's gratifying to win occasionally. Anyway, I'd be interested to hear more about the K bar owners and their rules.

I've been to a few over the years, so this is my take on it (yours may vary).

1) can't say I have ever felt totally out of place as they will normally give you at least the basic standard treatment. Give you your order, ask you to pick a girl etc.

But having said that, I will say their total attitude is much more energetic to the K customers in general (even the ones acting like A-Holes). But could be because I've notice the K customers generally throw more money around than non-Ks.

2) Almost all girls I've ever taken from the K-bars (about 90% or 9 out of 10) will only go ST. Not sure if its the general rule for K-bars or only with non K-customers.

I'm always a LT person so this sucks big time as many K-bars have better lookers.

3) The air in K-bars are generally bad as most if not all K's smoke.

4) Its generally true that many girls are totally influenced by the K culture, from K-pop to K hairstyle to K dramas. Some of the girls not working in K-bars actually speak some very basic K-words as they watch the dramas. This influence goes beyond just the K-bars and reaches many other bars as well.

Candy Bar. Word has it the K's come 12 noon and pick the best, we fuck the rest, LOL. Two shifts 12 noon start and 2 pm start. Girls who want K's, most prob the majority, apparently come at 12 noon. I have yet to prove that is fact or fable, think its fable cause I was there at 12 noon once and only 5 girls there, none of them a 6.

Last night Friday girls being barfined in a hurry. Its one of the few small vibrant bars. Next door Det 5 has been all decked out, fresh, smart look. Niee arrangement but no customers. Music excessively loud too. Even so I enjoyed it, especially cause I'd had a few beers beforehand, dulls the senses, LOL.

Bar (adjoining Angew Witch, already forgotten the name) . First night rock and roll, second night, same crap you hear all around Angeles (not Rock). I know the girls do not like rock and roll and its not so easy to do the foot shuffle too, but hey, we are the customers and they promote themselves as a Rock bar. Next door Angel Witch, same, same, not happening. Hey the bars are empty of punters. But as I said they are over filing with pussy. Nothing to complain about.

X2 by the way is actually Xs, they will be broke and out of biz within a year. Many before them did the same, in the same spot. Big joint equals big rent equals chasing too much (overheads). Got real lucky there, a Keeper (meaning ST every 2nd or 3rd day, LOL) at discount rate. I did not ask for discount but calling today before work, no barfine and Westcoast Rates, P500. Never asked for either but she reckons she is 4 days into her whoring career, and behaves so. Gone all ga ga over the first oldie (me) who bought her a LD. Admittedly I am a handsome brute, LOL. I will cherish this one. She is going to do a strip tease for me in the room. She doesn't know about it yet, but charged video batteries readying for her. She will do anything to please it seems. Strange infatuation or great acting ability, bit of both I suspect.

Tropix was good about 4/5 yrs ago. You can safely give it a miss these days though. Lollipop is always fun for me, but never bar fine there, just the same. Raa, IE, formerly Pharaoh etc etc etc, has turned into a 'kitchen'. No customers, lots of girls. Place looks crappy in my opinion, but food sales would help pay the rent. Had a bit of classy lounge look before, lost all that in the pursuit of the rent money (big place, big rents).

Arcadia was rocking, heaps of 5's girls and quite a few customers. Quality over quantity for me. Otherwise 'more beer' (mans best friend).

Simply put fella's there are attractive girls available and they are desperate for cash. Must be if they are fucking with me, LOL. The least number of guys around I have ever seen, and I have been in AC low season before. If you can't get a respectable fuck now, you never can.

Usually they welcome me at K bars, especially the owners. If your reasonably clean and dressed, not a rowdy. No prob at K bars, other than they normally do not want to go with oldie whites. Barnana, 2 yrs ago, used to be a good place for me, and it was all K at the time, nice girls too. I see K type girls here and there (not K bars) . Time to pounce (pretty girls who behave like ladies. The reason why the bargirls act that way can be understood if we look at the prostitution scene in Korea. Most Korean working girls do not accept anything but Korean patrons. My own conjecture is that if it gets known that a girl has a western customer she will find it difficult to have Korean customers. Further, that the reason for this is that Korean men have a deep-seated inferiority complex that is cultural. They are afraid that the girls will unfavorably compare them to westerners. You can call it a small dick complex.

BTW, the notion that Koreans are big spenders is mythology. A recent video link on the ISG forum features a PI bargirl who discusses the sentiments held by bargirls towards various nationalities. She says that Koreans are considered rude and stingy.
