I've never seen stuff like that ever! And I am clubbing for many years now. As far as I can see some people are just a little paranoid, that's all.
And the debate is not a debate. It is pretty simple and common sense. Go there, have fun, spend some money for good work. But don't overpay every little handshake the girls are doing. Cause in the end you are ruining the prices for everyone and for yourself!
I guess no tourist is there to build up some friendships with locals. But never shit where you eat. If someone has the urge to play the "dicken Max" (being a show-off cause of inferiority complexes) then there will be something different than friendships I guess.
