Even in the genuine ones, the divorced and single women are often preyed upon by scheming guys - they are thought to be 'soft' targets.

Coming to the hotel ads - I cannot comment on those (I don't read SO) but in the Sunday Times, you'll find most of the massage parlours being advertised (without mentioning all the 'extras'!!) . It seems that there are two 'chains' of prominent MPs. If you refer to the new Yellow Pages commercial guide you'll find the '8th floor', Liberty Plaza and 'Jade Gardens', Mt.Lavinia being advertised under Health Clubs and Massage.

I see most of the Sri lankan posts referring to the high-class hotel and casino dwelling girls. Any reports on so called $5 girls (such as in V'Nam and Indonesia) would be nice.

Thanks for the information about Sunshine, Nugegoda. It's useful to know about the places which are not so good but cheap. We Sri Lankan mongers can't always afford the high-class rip off girls. So the positive thing about this place is that the girls are friendly. You say the place is dirty; what's more important is, are the girls clean? If they are dressed in frocks, do they take their knickers off for a fee? Please give us this information to help the less well-off mongers.

did a recce of the liberty plaza 8th floor, about 3pm. about 15-20 sri lankan girls, pretty and sexily dressed, lolling around on sofas. dark skin. price 5,000 rupees (usd50) for 2 hours all-in, according to mamasan. she said she had russians also for a higher price. seemed quite a good set-up by colombo standards, a bar and a karaoke room were available. friendly and no hassle. i was tempted, but did not indulge – had an appointment.

I agree with littlejackuk that you won't get anything decent in Colombo or even in the suburbs for $5 (Rs.500). However it should be possible to get reasonably good action for Rs.1500. This would be an MP/brothel, not on the street. Standards of education among the lower classes in Sri Lanka are better than in India, so most of the girls in Colombo MP's know about STD's and the importance of using condoms. If the girl has condoms with her then you should be fairly safe.

There is a new massage place on Deanston Place (on the side of Mahanama College). The house number is 51. They charge Rs. 500/- and you do get a few nice women. The place is a real rat hole but possibilities are endless from what I heard.
